yeah man i love ford to death but that high reving ohc motor the 5.4l has to go man it makes no torque at lower rpm its good for the shelby and ford gt because you can make a rising hp curve at high rpm but that high reving peanut mod motor cant make torque ford needs to come back out with 351c and keep it a pushrod engine that's why i like dodge engines man good torque especially the 360ci 5.9l gas makes all the torque at like 3200 rpm. but u got to love the titans man

The reason it seems to rev higher tho was probably because of the model of pickup you where driving or in. Different trims have different rear ratios and different shift points depending on the weight of the trim.

This pulls prove nothing all traction based. Titan tows 9.8k F150 11kish. The Ford is a better truck as far as actual build quality of the truck but Nissan builds a better engine/tranny. True though in a recent test the Titan was one of the best trucks getting power to the ground...90% of hp/torque is generated between 2k-3k rpm. I'm a ford guy but I don't knock jap engineering the Titan and Tundra are real deal trucks and only build for 6 years...impressive.

6.0 powerstroke. the 5.4 isnt made for the capibilities(spelld wrong) of a super duty. its a great engine for a 150 but its not the work horse like the powerstroke plus its all just how well u take care of your truck if u floor it at ever stop light then ya ur gonna have problems but i take care of my truck and only put ford motercraft fluids in it and ford air filer ect

I would say 80 to 90% of the parts are made in the USA on American cars. Some Jap cars are made here, but that's some of the millions they sell yearly.

This pulls prove nothing all traction based. Titan tows 9.8k F150 11kish. The Ford is a better truck as far as actual build quality of the truck but Nissan builds a better engine/tranny. True though in a recent test the Titan was one of the best trucks getting power to the ground...90% of hp/torque is generated between 2k-3k rpm. I'm a ford guy but I don't knock jap engineering the Titan and Tundra are real deal trucks and only build for 6 years...impressive.

awhoop you did not say if it was a gas or diesel. i have a f250 with a 5.4 for work and it has 74,000 miles. i take care of this vehical as if it was my own. it had the tranny replaced 39,000 and a rear end at 50,000. this truck has almost killed me a few times with its death wobble. the last quality truck ford made was the 1979. today's ford trucks are just not worth shit and will not pull a greasy string out of a pigs ass!

6.0 powerstroke. the 5.4 isnt made for the capibilities(spelld wrong) of a super duty. its a great engine for a 150 but its not the work horse like the powerstroke plus its all just how well u take care of your truck if u floor it at ever stop light then ya ur gonna have problems but i take care of my truck and only put ford motercraft fluids in it and ford air filer ect

And that is backed up by the scales at the truck stop down the road.. and he says he forgets it is back there sometimes.. no air-ride or nothing. they go to myrtle beach (800 miles one way) about 4 times a year. and never had a problem with it.. but maybe your only solution to this would probably be that Nissan built my neighbor's f250 ..lol..
