  • @wayalife thanks! so i should be able to fit in then.............(hopefully) realy like your jeep moby

  • @wayalife how tall does your jeep mobby sit i want a a 6in long arm with 37s but dont know if it will fit in a 7 foot door

  • @kyle140l running 40" toyo mt's (very tall for a 40" tire) and about 5.5" of lift, we can still fit our jeep into our 7' garage with a hard top or trektop but not soft top. at it's highest point, we measure 6'-10".

  • wish this was a way cheeper sport but you have to pay to play

  • at 5:43 there is a vice clamp on the trailer hitch. where can i find that. lol that things sick

  • @patmeserkhani a company called mac's makes it, it's called a trail-d-vice

  • I'm planning on getting my first car soon, and I'm hoping (Oh so hoping) I'll be able to get a Wrangler Unlimited, and have a bit left to do a few things do it. What would you suggest starting at, with modifications, and what brands would you suggest to use?

  • @BluSigmaSL if you get a JK, they're pretty capable right out of the box. i would recommend getting a good set of rocker guards if you don't get a rubicon and make sure to have tow points front and rear. a 2.5" budget boost is nice to have and with it, you can run 35's.

  • @wayalife Thanks! Obviously I wont be able to do much with it, or use it on anything like you do, very often. (Darn school gets in the way...haha) And I'll be getting a used, if I get one at all, so I don't know what kind of model or condition it will be in. But thanks for the advice! Maybe you'll see me on the trail someday. =P

  • is a 2 door ever better than a 4 door in off-roading situations?

  • @ATLscream sure, in tight narrow terrain or when working your way through a dense forest.

  • do all jk's disconnect the sway bar or is that only the news ones you can do it by pressing a button

  • @UnIuckyChucky only on 07-12 JK's and only one ones that are a rubicon model

  • Awesome

  • and my XJ is a manual transmission does that make things easier or harder

  • @thelaxer1031 depends on if you're expereinced wheeling tough trails in a manual. if you are, it really doesn't make too much of a difference. if you aren't, it's definitely harder as an auto is so much easier to wheel.

  • The Rubicon is a dream of mine ive watched your videos and now thats all i want to do. I have an 01 XJ and its just stock but what would you suggest to modify to do a trail like this. I know its not a JK but im sure you need some similar modifications.

  • great video, really shows how tough that trail is, hopefuly someday

  • Not sure how many guys are involved in shooting these videos but you all deserve a pat on the back .. what you guys are doing for this sport is amazing keep it up!

  • @tythesnoman thank you so much. for the most part, it's just my wife cindy that does all the filming and editing of our videos. i say for the most part because the only time she's not filming is when she's driving and then, i do the filming :)

  • Very cool video,.. Like a TV show. Great work!

  • I am familiar with Wayoflife... nice vid thanks for the post.

  • Wayalife: what route do you take through the rubicon. Where do you start and where do you end up?

  • did you like my country??

  • This seems like so much fun, I am purchasing my first jeep within the next week or two, finally saved enough and got a decent deal on a 2011 sahara (cant afford a Rubicon) Watching you guys fix all the problems on the fly was amazing, i hope to get up to your guys level one day, if my military job pulls through I will be able to have the money and time (after serving the years i decide to) to join this way of life, take care!

  • I really enjoy your videos! :) Keep it up!

  • How do you clean your engine after it gets all dirty?

  • these videos should come on a dvd when you buy a jeep from the dealer. In fact I am sending the channel link to my salesman

  • awesome video. i love how you guys band together to fix things that break on the trail.

  • Awesome video! cant wait for summer

  • best wheeling channel on youtube

  • @stratospro1 thank you :)

  • I am saving for my second Rubicon, had to get rid of my last one and am debating about an unlimited or a two door. My concerns are fuel and ground clearance with the longer wheelbase. Any thoughts anyone?

  • @Googlypap if you can afford a 2012, their engine and mpg are better and, there's no need to be concerned with ground clearance especially if you can lift yours and run bigger tires.

  • @wayalife Thank you I want to run 35's are you guys in western Canada. I Drove down and did Death Valley and Moab a few years back in my 2004.

  • Wayalife, what do you think you need to be able to clear the rubicon trail? 33s 35s 37s? 2 inch 3 inch 4 inch lift?

  • @unwrappedbox technically, you can run it stock but, it's a lot of work and not a lot of fun. at bare minimum, i recommend a JK to have a 2.5" lift and running 35's, tow points front and rear and rocker guards. lockers are a huge bonus. with this setup, you can run it without too much fuss and have a good time.

  • We want more videos!

  • these are unreal videos i got a 2010 wrangler sport 2d and i cant wait to lift it and take it through some unreal trails.....havent stopped watching thses vids keep it up!

  • @tbayboyz glad you're enjoying them :)

  • this is such a good series u got going right now!!! u could seriously make this into a tv show!!

  • @Examinedthunder LOL!! that would be fun

  • where is the entrance to the trail?

  • WOW ! congrats wayoflife that is one of the best jeep vids I've ever seen ! in fact i think its one of the best videos I've seen in my life ! keep on the good work and keep them coming ! thanks

  • @duffyboby thank you for the kind words, we really appreciate it :)

  • I bought an 08 JKU. That year was the first time I heard of this trail. I've been wanting to go ever since. I will join you one day. Project JK you do a great job of broadcasting our sport / hobby.

  • @rizzicon thank you, we really do appreciate it :)

  • cool video

  • hell yeah for the guys that used TOYO tires. i think there are the best MT tire you can buy

  • Absolute joy watch

  • Not a big Jeep fan, but Jeep guys sure now how to party.

  • wowww! i have been watching your vids for a while and i must say this vid made me feel reall good , not to mention there is alot of mechanical talent to go with your trips i see you plan for almost everything , meaning if it breaks you fix it, i need a crew like yours ,, happy trailing.

  • best of the best cheers jeepers and wayalife

    ciao da Catania,Sicilia,Italia

  • So what is the mud story? And how did he get THAT muddy? LOL

  • @CSA95A28 the canadians went on a midnight mud run in their shorts.

  • got to love it

  • Is The guy running the steel blue 2door named Dave?

  • @HyzaaHD as a matter of fact, yes it is :)

  • @wayalife I thought so :) We went wheeling down in east coast JK feast :)

  • One day.. *puts another penny in the bank*

  • I never heard of the Rubicon Trail. Certainly this can't be an old pioneer path. I can't see horse and wagon getting through something like this. Amazed that the wheels made it through. There has to be an easier trail to follow to get there. I can see the excitement in doing this. Those Jeeps sure are hardy.

  • I'm just a teenager so i have no clue about off roading but i have a question... In the videos it looks like you don't have a lot of air in your tires..if this is correct why do you do it?

  • I wish these videos were able to play on my iPhone and iPad.

  • Hey guys, you know how much I love your videos but one thing is driving me insane! What is the name of the first song when you started wheeling. It's kinda heavy, right after the small part of armin van buurens song. (2:00)

  • @phazon1029 it's "reason to believe" by sum 41

  • @wayalife omg thank you so much lol, I've watched this video a million times and I have always wanted to know. I didnt see it in the credits so it drove me crazy trying to figure it out.

  • Comment removed

  • 11:19 look at moby having a little fun :)

  • I love your videos and all of the wheeling but i have one question how did you aquire all of those sponsors? or did you put all that money into the vehicle yourself? It's a beauty and i hope my for door soon to be in 4 years will be as nice as yours

  • I enjoy all of your videos but this one really shows the essence of true jeepers. Thanks for the great videos and for giving us jeepers a great name.

  • I love when you post videos. I think that it is awesome how you guys can fix anything on the trail, Like the guy from canada who messed up his ball joint. Keep on doing your thing, Have fun and keep it up.....

  • That was great guys, I'm looking forward to my next adventure.

  • Awesome video. 'Nuff said!!!

  • Project-JK does it again... another FANTASTIC video... thanks guys!

  • Again awesome video guys. it takes a rare breed of jeepers to do this time amd time again. great job.

  • What a cool video guys!

From a fellow Jeep owner to another, Jeep for life!

You have just inspired me to plan a trip to the US from South Africa to drive this trail in my life.

  • Very cool. Subbed for sure.

  • @ausi4x4 thank you. the light bar was custom made by the owner of the jeep.

  • Very nice boys. From Australia.

  • @nikdees awesome, thanks!! we love hearing from our fans around the world :)

  • That was the most stunning piece production I've ever seen. Blockbuster films are not a tenth as well produced as that was - I take my hat off to you.

What video camera's did you use? Did you spend all your time filming or did you have a passenger doing some/most the filming?

Thank you again - I can't believe that was free! Amazing!

  • @TwoMagadan LOL!! you are too kind and we are completely flattered. thank you. we use a basic sony HD video camera that we bought from costco. cindy, my wife does most of the filming and all of the editing.

  • @wayalife ... ok I take my hat off to her then ;-) either way, awesome ride. Nickdees is a mate of mine who lived in California for many years but now calls Australia home. I think you should make the move to here and bring all that excellent 'rock crawling' to our island! Thanks again, can't wait to your next production.

  • another incredible video, you take the editing for this genre of video to a whole new level! great job keep it up

  • @bbp315 thank you for the kind words - we really are glad that you enjoy our videos

  • Another awesome video guys!!

  • @Thunderhead7 thanks, we really do appreciate it :)

  • And another sick video Sir!

  • @1021raul thank you :)

  • Awesome video. I really need to get out there and ride with you guys.

  • Amazing Video!!! Anyone happen to know who makes the light bar setup at 8:51?

  • great video, as always....

first time that I saw a flat tire on the spare tire!!! that was funny!!!

no glass bottles for the Trasharoos...

  • Wayalife, you have had those Toyo's forever, how many miles have you logged on them so far?

  • @801youknow almost 50,000 miles. but, just installed a new set last week :)

  • i really hope one day ill be able to run with you guys :)

  • Just what I expected, another awesome video!

  • just another nice vid

  • So cool, thanks for sharing.

  • @jeepjeepjeep1997 so glad you liked it :)

  • As usual AWESOME video!! Here's to hoping that a guy with a Landcruiser can be a part of the family as well. Really bummed I missed you while you were in Colorado, you actually drove right through my home town of Glenwood Springs. Oh well maybe next year in Moab. Keep these killer videos coming, better entertain ment value than anything on TV these days. [O]=TOYOTA=[O]

  • @gr8ful68 bummer we missed you. we run with anyone willing to join us. maybe someday we'll be able to hook up with you :)

  • Another Awesome video. This must have been real different for the folks from Canada. It is for the most part dry here. unlike in Canada. This is the stuff Jeep dream come from.

  • @kowz4u it's funny because, we were under the impression that what you guys have is pretty much the same or better but, the whole times our canadian friends were here, all they kept saying was how beautiful and awesome it was here.

  • @wayalife Eddie I have friends that live in Nova Scota. They dream of coming to California. They wheel some hard hills. Glacier scraped granite covered with very slippery mud and rain. It is so different. the trail names are what gets broken on you Jeep or other 4X4's. I know how much you and Moby like trees, well they have a lot of them. this is why they say it is so Beautiful. No mud. Look on youtube Redneck Jeep club. It is a awesome Video.

  • CANADA REPRESENT!!

  • Speaking of U-joints, Anybody try RCV Performance axles on the Jeeps?

  • @navseal345 we ran a set on our orange jk. they're nice but, i'm not sure they're worth the money. you still need to maintain them and, if you don't, they'll fail just like anything. just a good set of chromoly shafts is what i would recommend. they come with full circle clips as opposed to c-clips and, so long as you maintain them, they'll serve you well.

  • @wayalife Thanks for the imput! Im a fan of winter weather, any plans for winter wheeling in the snow? Would make a great video.

  • @navseal345 living down in socal, we don't have too many opportunities to do any snow wheeling on purpose. all the snow we do get to do is just by chance.

  • Im always waiting for new videos! awesome video!

watching these videos is whats going to make my next vehicle a jeep!

  • @MrDs51989 that's awesome! hope you get one soon :)

  • Beautiful Video and Beautiful Jeeps! Love your videos wayalife. Did I see correctly that some of those guys were running open diffs?

  • @WoodardJeep Looked that way, didn't it?

  • @WoodardJeep we had one sahara in our group and he was running open diffs

  • amazing video!

  • @jeepingnet thank you

  • Awesome vid Wayalife!

  • @CRZYCalindian thank, we're so glad you liked it :)

  • That was awesome, I need to know where that vise came from, been looking for one like that for 2 years....

  • love the video...as always, awesome job Eddie!

  • made my day

  • Any Dana 30s make it through this?

  • @aermotorstudio you bet - well, at least the one sahara in our group had a 30 :)

  • @wayalife That's awesome! Did he have gussets or just straight balls of steel?

  • @wayalife You ever take non-jeepers on your trips?

  • @Dcarlsonn you bet, all the time. :)

  • i dont like this....

i love it! :) great video guys!

  • @ProjectTJ2000 LOL!! thank you

  • i dont like this....

i love it! :) great video guys!

  • Jeep should be paying you to make these videos, they're awesome!!

  • @Mrjeepcherokee1 LOL!! oh man, that sure would be nice. would certainly help make these runs and videos easier to do, that's for sure. but, the reality is, why would they? we already make these free of charge. truth be told, we're truly passionate about jeeps and the jeep way of life and, with or without their help, we will continue to do what we do :)

  • U dont see to many Saharas out wheeling :)

  • @legoMan104 we get a few from time to time :)

  • when will you guys come to Baja, Mexico?????

  • amazing as always

  • There was more anticipation for this video then waiting for my iphone 4S ;)

    ANOTHER EXCEPTIONAL VIDEO!

  • @projectJK2008 LOL!! now that's funny :)

  • i love ur videos, i hope one day i can take a drive out to cali and go on a couple of the trails, i got one question, around how much hp do u have in ur jeep

  • I just happened to look if you had any new vids, and I got so amped when i saw this one. Greatstuff

  • @Spankyshooter Perfect timing ;)

  • GREAT VID

  • @Disasterpiece111 thank you

  • My car is on the market right now because your videos have inspired me to buy a Jeep. The amount of fun you guys have is awesome. As always awesome video!

  • @phazon1029 LOL!! i love it - hope to see you on the trail :)

  • @wayalife Thanks you! Be prepared for messages on advice for parts and mods lol.

  • These videos help me to get thru the workday thanks again wayalife, for your great videos and for sharing your cool stories with everyone. I hope to someday wheel with you guys as well!

  • @clg82 indeed, i hope to wheel with you someday as well :)

  • yet another amazing video...well done

  • @zjsteve thanks, we're so glad you like it :)

  • @wayalife thank you for the countless hours of editing it takes to put something like that together and the time to wheel and film it haha. One day when I'm done with the ZJ i will move onto a 4 door JK. In the mean time if I ever get out to Cali from NJ I'll have to get in contact and do a trail or two.

  • @zjsteve LOL!! sounds like a plan :)

  • @wayalife I'll have to hold you to that now. Then you will need to post up a video with JK's and 2 Zj's in it.

  • Fun video, thank!

  • I am always impressed with how you handle your Jeep and how you edit your videos. I hope someday to build a Jeep and be able to run with you guys. Keep up the great work and let Cindy drive!

  • @ShoatTehGimpyCleric LOL!! cindy only drives when the trail is really hard. you'll see footage of her taking on carnage canyon soon ;)

  • You and Cindy always do a wonderful job man. I just had to do the same thing to my TJ after an off-roading trip a couple weeks ago. I flooded with mud and had to crawl out of my jeep and swim to get a tow strap on my front haha. When I got home, I got my power washer and sprayed my interior down. I had to drive to school with a wet butt for a couple of days but it was completely worth the experience. Great job again guys and keep 'em comin'!

  • @TRBO1717 LOL!! great story and, we're glad that you liked our video

  • Way to represent BC guys! Nice video.

  • Was that black Sahara running stock axles with no lockers?

  • @BSDeez16 yes. it can be done but, it's a lot of work.

  • AH Mazing! ;)

  • @Running925 thanks :)

  • Another great video. Already looking forward to the next one.

  • @naowenby LOL!! it may be a bit but, we're working on it :)

  • Only thing missing was me. Another great vid

Best part is watching "strangers" become family in a matter of hours.

  • @chrwar0624 it really is a great thing and, what i love so much about jeep people :)

  • "The Mud Story"

  • Awesome as always - from Down Under

  • @aussiedeerhunter wow!! that's awesome - thanks!

  • Well done. Another great movie! Thank You.

  • As always great Vid!!
