Yes! There is of course membership but you can play free for as long as you want. You get 4 regions, 3 invent bags, the whole storyline, and all but 2 classes In free to play.

It's way better now they made it free! There r way more classes. and the ui is different, but I wudnt say better. I still like it better than wow. The graphics in wow r to childish and cartoony. And combat is way unrealistic in wow, like there's a huge flash wen u hit som1.

I definitly think this is a better game than World Of Warcraft because all you do is kill and level up but in Lord Of The Rings Online there is a storyline aswell so there is purpose for the game and if your a lord Of The Rings fan Helms Deep and Minis Tirith etc will be unlocked in the next expansion
