  • Like all Zeppelin stuff gives me an audio cranial orgasm!!

  • Wow wish I'd been there.

  • Robert and Paul are gods among men. They cannot be compared as they are both far too different

  • Roberts only 21 here.....fucking hell

  • Me parece una versión horrible, muy mala.

  • This is just more of a shit version of the original.

  • @forkrow91 shame on you

  • I really fuckin hate when ppl say Zeppelin are a metal band or are in any way related to metal. I know the members of zepp know what metal is and if they say they're not metal, then their not metal!

  • Comment removed

  • Why the hell wasn't this included on the DVD?

  • Incredible life better version of !!!,.... and banished the sound engineer between 2:40 and 6:36 minutes ... the rest is incredibly beautiful,.... roll in your grave Elvis!, Chuck Berry, Eric Clapton, etc

  • hey ! didnt know this number !

its like all the other Zeppelin stuff , Great , specialy the guitar of page , this is the markstone between RnR and Hard Rock , and plant give this music a special touch of dirty , androgyn sound , dont forget bonzo and Jonesy , Led Zeppelin !!

  • Heavy metal Long Tall Sally!!!!!!!

  • @FredDude27 Led Zeppelin is not a metal band

  • They are so incredible!!

  • where did you get this? it doesnt look like it was on the DVD because of the quality.

  • Comment removed

  • 2:40 - 6:35 What happens to sound in this part? WHAT SHIT HAPPENS? was cut me the orgasm. T.T

  • @Juviex It switches from the soundboard source to the multitrack recording; hence the quality is mediocre to bad.

  • Only Led Zeppelin could turn Long Tall Sally into a 7 minute jam!

  • ORGASMOOOOOOOO ME CORROOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Did you know that this concert happened on JP's birthday?

I bet he got plenty of birthday wishes from his fan girls that night....

  • you can tell this is the last song of the concert, watch videos from the beginning, Plant starts the show with his shirt almost buttoned totally up, and he finishes the show with only two buttons left

  • Take it jimmy!!!!

  • crap

  • This should have never been left out from the DVD.

  • Can't see the Paul vs Plant on this one... McCartney owned this one!

  • now i am probably the biggest led zeppelin fAn on the planet, but i must admit that the little richard version of this song is still the best!! BUT LONG LIVE THE LED

  • Java,Jammin,Jigglin!

  • little known fact: zeppelin (with the exception of probably bonzo) were intensely infatuated by elvis presley. likewise, elvis's favorite band was, in fact, zeppelin.

imagine the riots that wouldve ensued had those two powerhouses toured together....

    lives wouldve been lost

  • @LoryCowery it was mostly plant that loved elvis

  • Great Zeppelin !

    God of music !

  • Let's have some fun tonight !

Long Tall Heavy Metal Sally !!!

  • jeez they didnt sing along when he told them like 5 times

  • @guitargod91000 TheyAreTooMesmerizedToSing)))

  • beatles, zeppelin, little richard, all fucking incredible versions!

  • -Take it Jimmy! xD loooooove them!

  • Comment removed

  • Little Richard version (Original) is the best.

  • i wish i had hair like robert plant id be 10x more epic

  • Great cover, but there's a bunch of slack jawed faggots in here.

  • i think if robert plants hair and roger daltrey hair got in a fight robert plants hair will win js

  • 13 people didn't have fun that night...

  • Jimmy Page is so good he can switch guitars half way through the song

  • why does the audio suddenly switch to a much worse quality in the middle of the song?

  • @packeropie 'Cause it is a merge beetween SBD source and AUD source, reason is that the portion of SBD source is unavailable thus someone did a merge to complete the song! I'm a LZ bootleg collector! Cheers

  • @Antinna81 ah, makes sense. thank you.

  • @packeropie The first portion is a soundboard recording, and the next is an audience recording to fill in the gap.

  • damn page had it tight in this song

  • Frankly Jimi Hendrix is better than Led Zeppelin or the Beatles, his music invented the term "psychedelic".

  • @Kaizeppelin Jimi Hendrix is Jimi Hendrix. He's unique and a performer of his own. Zeppeliin is more of a combo, not just one amazing performer, but four. And the Beatles are unique in their own right. It's ridiculous to put them in the same discussion here.

  • @armp1tha1r thats true but all three groups had a very similar if not overlapping fan base. They were competitors for the same fans because they all came out in the mid to late 60s. Even so today. The Beatles can sell records today because their a pop group and Apple/Itunes has released their remastered stuff and has spent alot of money on their publicity. Led Zeppelin in the 70s were as influential as the Beatles were in the 60s.

  • Yes, can somebody say please on which bootleg dvd it is on ?????

Or please upload the rest !!!!!!!!!

  • @MrCCRFan

If I'm not mistaken, it should be on the led zeppelin dvd with the other RAH stuff. but I could be wrong.

  • @packeropie It's not ....:-(, but maybe i am wrong, there is so much different out, and i am not a "hardcore" fan that have everything of 'em ;-)

  • This in insane!!!!! :O

  • CAN YOU PLEASE UPLOAD THE REST OF THIS BOOTLEG DVD!!!

  • These guys were so damned good!!!!

  • *LOVE* to see Jimmy Page having so much fun that's he actually *WANTS* to join in the singing at 4:55-5:05!...That's AWESOMELY COOL!!! (As is this incredible track!)

  • How The West Was Won, must of had extras they didnt add or something its not on my DVD.

  • You can't compare Paul McCartney and Robert Plant. McCartney does what he does and Plant does what he does. But in his genre, McCartney is just another good voice among many. Plant on the other hand, set the standard for his genre, and set it pretty damn high, at least before he lost the voice. He had the range and the tone, the ability to improvise, and the intense attitude. At any rate, nobody had the live stage presence of Zeppelin. Unique in that without all 4 oustanding players, no zeppelin

  • @armp1tha1r You should have stopped your post at the end of the second sentence. Enjoy them both for what they are. It's all good.

  • @armp1tha1r McCartney was far superior than Plant. Not only did he sing this way better he was overall the most versatile voice ever. Yesterday, Ive got a feeling, Lady Madonna, Get Back are all songs that are completely different vocally. The man had 4 voices in one. Plant had one.

  • @genericgeorge I don't dispute that McCartney has a great voice. They are two completely different voices, that's all. And Plant's is the more distinctive voice. Many singers can do what McCartney does and much better in a lot of cases, and that's not to diminish the great body of work that he did with the Beatles. It's just foolish to try and compare them. Plant at his peak is unique, especially live, where a performer's stage presence and energy can elevate the music.

  • @armp1tha1r If were talking strictly voices then Plant is more distinctive then McCartney's just as Eddie Vedder, Bob Dylan Elvis are that. Those three guys I mentioned arent great voices by any stretch of the imagination. A big difference between distinctive and a great singer. Plant was one dimensional, though he had a good range I admit - the high whiny voice and a decent low range. McCartney's voice was much more rounded and better tone. Listen to 'Oh Darlin' and you'll hear what I mean.

  • Not to mention Monkberry Moon Delight. That is a purely awesome vocal performance and something Plant could NEVER do in this life.

  • @armp1tha1r i agree with you, for the most part. You should listen to Plant at the O2 Reunion. Sure its not as high as it was in 1970 but he sounds absolutely amazing.

  • @armp1tha1r i dunno the who could give them a run for their money with stage presence. andd there tighter i think personally.

  • @armp1tha1r Yeah, nobody wails like Robert Plant.

  • jimmy is god........

  • Plant looks like Rory Gallagher with those mutton chop sideburns.

  • 2:50 is why lol

  • not on the dvd? iv never seen it

  • Rare and yet enjoyable, thanks bro!!!!!

  • HOLY SH*T!

    THIS.

    IS.

    INCREDABLE.

  • TOM JONES 0:22 wtf??

  • they didn't have footage for some parts of the night so they patched together shots to make it continuous. jimmy is the mastermind behind the dvd of this show. smart guy.

  • 3:06 Bonzo up clapping <3

  • WHAT THE FUCK!>!?!!??! why am i just finding out this existed?!?!?!

  • This is great music. Thanks for posting

  • 1:30 -- When Robert Plant tells you to join in singing, you bloody well join in singing!

  • @LedHeadTillDeath even if you dont know the words you still better fucking sing

  • Page doing a great job. Plant can't keep up with the tempo of this tune.

  • oh dear

  • the beatles are my favorite band ,but this is not the Beatles' song!!!! it is from the epic Little Richard !!

  • great cover

  • I can't believe anyone would even compare Kiss to the Zep. Zeppelin are one of the most important and influential bands of all time. Kiss are an over the top corporate machine.

  • omg what a bad cover.... go lisen to The Beatles version and you love it

  • @swajtenn I like The Beatles to, infact I love The Beatles. This is not a bad cover though. Led Zeppelin is my favorite band. Jimmy Page is the reason I've been playing guitar for four years.

  • @1970JimiHendrix well good for you :D but i hate led zepp. thats me and dont care what you guys says. my favorite bands is The Beatles , Kiss

  • @swajtenn the beatles are awsome, but KISS? really dude?, they suck, they only made like one good song, and its not even that good, you think kiss can do jams and shows like led zep?hahaha

  • @Abe91195 are you retard?? kiss is the ultimate band for they live shows.. you need to learn more... early kiss kicked all rock bands.. no band wanted kiss to open for them becuase they cudnt keep up the energi and power kiss had.

so yeah kiss make one hell of a show better then led

  • @swajtenn my uncle told me he went to a led zeppelin concert in europe in 1971, and it was the greatest concert ever, and he also went to a kiss concert, and he said 80% was pure show, and the other 20% was music.

  • @Abe91195 your uncle is a doper and alkoholic then

  • @swajtenn mostly all the kids and teens were dopers, and drinkers back then.

  • @swajtenn Then whay the fuck are you watching a zeppelin vid and commenting on it... FAIL!!!!!

  • @seanmjh beause i was watching the beatles long tall sally and saw this one and clickt on it and it sucks

  • @swajtenn ya... cause they suck SOOOOO bad... thats why led zeppelin is rated the #3 band/artist, #1 being michael jackson, and #2 being the beatles...

  • @swajtenn This is an Excellent cover - it's Led Zeppelin's Classic Blues-Rock style - not The Beatles' Original Rock'n'Roll style. Of course it's different in arrangement - but it's nothing like bad.

  • Wow?! Amazing?! Groovin?! This is the worst Zep clip I ever heard. At this rate they couldv'e took a shit on stage and got complimented too! It was smokin!

  • @ezalburez it's pretty awesome, just not their usual kind of stuff. Be open-minded

  • @noraacmw I am open minded. I lived, breathed, ate, and shit Zeppelin for most of my life. I sang in a Zeppelin cover band and the guitar player is now touring with Jason Bonham, so I think I know a thing or two about the Zep. I also know that when you are so into a band, anything they do is wonderful. Taking all this into account, I still think it's the worst zep clip I ever heard... and I heard a lot. Sorry It's just my opinion and I am waiting for all the Zeptards to pounce on me! :)

  • @ezalburez if you think this is bad you should see "battle of evermore" in 77, featuring JPJ on backup vocals.

  • Take it, Jimmy!

  • They wuz tight. Plant was hot then. Smokin'

  • This song sounds better in a chopper with fully loaded soldiers :P

  • WOW!!

  • i wish they put this on the led zeppelin dvd, because this has got to be my favorite song from the concert and it woulda been great to see it in really high quality!! but the music is still there, so thanks for the post!!

  • pretty good. but not as good as the predecessors of this version.

  • Where did you get that?!

    It's awesome !

  • Thank you for posting dis awesome song. I bought the led zeppelin dvd wit da RAH concert on it but they didn't have this song. Once again thanks 4 posting! :)

  • jimmy page = god

  • @sebyseby34 no. hendrix=god. page=pretty much there, but not quite like that.

  • @jrebikable henrix is shit compared to page.

  • @jcmcdguitar As much as I adore Page, and have since childhood, really....Whatever it is you've been smoking? Take it back and get a refund.

  • @jcmcdguitar boaf

  • @jrebikable creo que no ;)

  • *Epic Song* "Take it Jimmy!" *Awesome solo"

  • page was a master of the blues. this song and the bluesy bit from towards the end of how many more times are very similar, and you can tell both of page's solos were improvised, they used a lot of the same bits, but were arranged into completely different pieces.

  • why the fuck didn't this make the dvd?

  • can some one tell me what medly this was in?

  • @CodySchofield

    It's its own separate song.

  • @jonohull i kinda figured that

where did you get this? and why the hell didnt jimmy put this on the dvd

  • @jonohull where did you find this one?

  • @CodySchofield t'was an encore~

  • @CodySchofield it was the encore at the 1970 royal albert hall concert, i don't beleive it was ever officially released.

  • @CodySchofield Predator movie

  • @CodySchofield Predator movie

  • This concert was on Page's birthday. January Ninth.

  • ringo starr was not a good drummer technically...he only just had the skills to play the beatles' hard rock numbers. bonham would run rings around him. but what ringo had was touch and feel...he knew exactly what volume, what speed, what technique to use. he had that magical touch that not bonham, not collins, not any other drummer quite had. don't believe me? listen again to "hey jude" and listen to that perfect drumming. bonham could have never done that as well as ringo did.

  • Oh yes. Without a doubt, Page is the Grand Sorcer of the Order of the Guitar. Takes one to know one. I, myself, am only a minor practioner of guitar sorcery. But just enough.

  • The vocals suck. Plant could have done a lot better with this song.

  • love it!

  • great cover of Little Richard's little song!

  • Long Tall Sally,

    she`s built sweet she got

    everything that uncle john needs

    oh baby

    yah baby

    oh woo-hoo-ooo-oh baby

    gonna have some fun tonight

    YAH-OH!!

  • Great Song.

  • Why is Page playing a Black Beauty in one shot and his Sunburst Standard in another? What the hell?

  • @jrebikable Jimmy is notorious for editing. If you watch TSRTS you can see that in some shots during Whole Lotta Love, He's playing a Cherry sunburst and then his Standard burst in another shot.

  • @WERExALLxPHUCKED I don't think he edited this though, cause it was never officially released on the Led Zeppelin DVD due to the rights not getting cleared. Also notice toward the end of the video the audio source changes. I think this has been spliced together from various available sources. Maybe there was something wrong with a couple frames that could explain the Black Beauty shot.

  • @jrebikable because hes the wizard

  • @jrebikable page is a god he can do what he wants with his guitars lol

  • @jrebikable Its a mixture of footage.

  • @jrebikable Bacause he is Jimmy Page.

  • @jrebikable he could have easily changed it, HE'S A FUCKIN SOURCERER!

  • @jrebikable

seriously, i don't get this either. he's soloing on the black one at around :50, and then he has the sunburst one at 1:39. there is no significant pause in the guitar part, and no noticeable change in its tone. my only guess is the film is edited together from consecutive nights, which makes sense considering you can watch their performance from the dvd straight through start to finish and this isn't on it.

  • @Robstailey i'm pretty sure they only played one night at RAH

  • @jrebikable could be shots from rehearsal or just missing film and someone just chucked that in

  • @jrebikable Maybe he swapped guitars as a result of a broken string???

  • @jrebikable I did not see exact.y where in the sequence that the Black Beauty appeared. Can you tell what the precise time signature is in the video? It's possible that in making the video, the actual film was not available and they substituted something that looked like the real sequence. THere was another video made in the last decade where Jimmy Page produced this effect by replacing non existent or damaged film with something that appeared to be live.

  • @joemacattack2001 look at it again. it's there, believe me. doesn't sound different. at least bonham didn't switch kits.

  • @jrebikable

    He's just that good

  • @jrebikable editing

  • @jrebikable

Because he's fucking amazing. That's why.

  • @jrebikable

if you watch this concert on their dvd at some points they ran out of footage or maybe the footage was unusable (maybe?) they still had the audio so they'd either do a montage of still shots, or splice together some other stuff (usually recycled shots of the crowd rocking out). It only happens a few times but ya it's a little confusing. At any rate, sometime during the encore page busted out the black beauty.

  • @jrebikable maybe they played the song both nights... now that said, i'm fairly sure what we're hearing is the standard

  • @jrebikable He's Jimmy Page. Nuff Said. haha

  • @jrebikable guys who edited the vid messed up... same shit in the song remains the same happens

  • @metsjets315 nobody fucked up. it's meant to be like that.

  • @jrebikable the beauty of gibson

  • @jrebikable Either they played the song twice in the show and between times Page changed guitars or this is cobbled together from two different nights would be my guesstimate.

  • @jrebikable

missing tape and audio, pretty lame.

i'm surprised page left it in like that, he is a perfectionist and even goes to extremes as to edit mistakes or dead notes in his sloppy playing over the original audio.

  • @jrebikable Because Jimmy Page is a wizard.

  • Led zeppelin covering a song? Instead of doing a poor job of ripping it off. Thiefs!!!!

  • Dont like pages guitar sound on this one ...

  • Bye! Bye bye baby, Buh bye

  • Toronto baby!

  • menuda caña de version.... long living rock & roll¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • Take it Jimmy....!!

  • It was over 40 years ago, but still rockin !

  • apparently theres a "lost album" zeppelin made of old rock'n'roll classics

  • Yeah i know but in this actual vid he switches during the song?

  • Why did jimmys guitar switch from black beauty to the burst?
