I realise that you are covering rather than copying the song but in my opinion you haven't done anything good/new with it. You've just chucked a drum machine on, chugged out the chords and recited Steve I's words - without an ounce of passion I might add . However, this song is extremely difficult to cover purely because of who Crass were/are and the unique nature of their music.

"Someone must be making something somewhere" so when records are sent out at cost (with postage) how do you think they are making money ? maybe some people give a shit about the Crass lyrics and are not greedy record labels who have been ripping people off for years.
So: you can have a waiver if you, the band, don't make a penny out of this release, so we would like to see regular statements from you showing what is going on, and if a profit starts being made, we require our share. Is this acceptable to you?"
