  • I L I K E THEIR T R O U S E R S. THE SONG IS superrrrrr.....

  • I can vividly recall this song in the bars I frequented in the Republic of Korea. It let us know that places like home were still there and awaited our return home.

  • @hoystuffandicecream ....At 74 I know what you are saying ....I had a box full of that stuff (my shirt was purple with BIG puffy sleeves).

....I gave the box to the Thrift Store ,they gave it back ,except someone stole the shirt .

....I thank you ,personally, for the "REMBER" .

  • guitarist on the left looks like bill the butcher. that stache was hip in the 70's. 1870's and 1970's.

  • When this came out, they lived in Florida in a subdivision ,and were the only ones that didn't mow the lawn. The Sunday Tampa magazine had a cover of them sitting in the grass with only their heads visible. Lawn was more than knee deep. How do I remember all this 35 years later ? I got divorced that same summer., for the first time, in Florida. My wife ran off with a guy I introduced her to at a party. I still love the song. Great to dance to,.. In polyester leisure suits. I had a sky blue one.

  • PEACE and LOVE! zo simpel zou het kunnen zijn..

  • mein song !!

  • This a such a great, but simple song!!!! "Let your love flow" says it all!!! In PEACE and LOVE!!!! Sonny

  • @hotstuffandicecream ....I gave you a thumb's up ,but I just have to say .

  • Great song, I remember Levi's using this song with one of their ads. That actually is where I first heard and learned to love this song. Thank you for posting it.

  • One of the sweetest tunes ever to hit #1 on The Billboard Pop Charts in 1976. I wish the audio quality was better though.

  • i hear "moonlit nights" not "moonless night"

and "you'll know" is right, but sometimes you have "you know"

  • I was fortunate to have grown up listening to great music like this as the stuff made today is just crap compared to the sounds of the 70's. Real musicians with meaningful lyrics that touch your very soul every time you listen.

  • 76 was year I graduated from high school and 2 man band at local bar used to play this song. I still like halter tops and remember wearing the disco era clothes a couple of years later.

  • excellent song ,reminds me when i was about 14 . the radio played this a lot but i loved it.

  • Hay many thanks to all the people who post all the great comments about when they were young and say great things about these old but great songs. I enjoy reading the posts as much as the music. thanks for the smiles and the post.

  • This was the very first song that was played in my moms brand new 1976 Chevy Malibu Classic 2-door after we took delivery of it. MANY great memories for me from way back then. I was still a kid, BUT it seems like yesterday.

  • @Rtfune THAT'S the kind of comment I like reading

  • mein absoluter Lieblingssong aus der Jugendzeit : ))

  • this was it , if only to go back

  • 1976...I was only 10. When I first heard this song on a radio...it was so lovely. And dreamed of a western cowboys lifestyle. This song is still nice and beautiful to hear today. Very evergreen lol. When I migrated to Germany for marriage reason, I heard a German version with a title something like ''A bed in the cornfield''. Man, I wish we all don't grow older!!

  • gracias por este video recuerdo mi niñez feliz tenia 8 años maravillosos.......

  • Drinking Jim Beam shooters and listening to country was almost rebellious as any punk rock I would later come across in the late seventies...

  • 1977 Bredhurst, Kent England my mate Mark Merryweather learned to play this on his electric guitar and I sung the lyrics. We performed it for two girls we made stand in his back garden so we could go up to his bedroom where his amp was. We thought we were THE shit, they just thought we were shit unfortunately. Man we had a great laugh doing it though. oh to be young again

  • love it !!!!!)

  • Luv it!

  • " There's a reason ..." ;-)

  • I wanna wear my torn faded levi's jeans and roll a joint again.. 1976 beautiful year..YEAH !!!!

  • My son had just turned 2 when he slept over by his Granny for the first time, and I lay awake listening to this song THE WHOLE night. Was the only thing that could calm me enough not to go fetch him! Since then, when hearing this song, I have fond memories of my 15 hours of needless worry!! lol

  • Bellamy Brothers are coming to the watseka theatre watseka illinois on friday july 15, 2011. i have my tickets.

  • Four people just don't know how to let their love flow.

  • Great song...The lyrics are all representative of what God created. God created the mountain streams, the birds and the moonless night. Most importantly, He created our souls which allow us to simply - LOVE. Praise Jesus and thank Bellamy!

  • HEY GUYS! I DO LOVE THIS SONG AND ALL THE OTHER SONGS OF THE BELLAMY BROTHERS. WE USE TO SING THEM WHEN WE WERE IN HIGH SCHOOL WAY BACK IN OUR HOMETOWN IN DAVAO CITY PHILIPPINES.

  • Lovely song - nice to have it featured in Barclaycard advert.

  • My kids thinks this was made for a Toyota commercial.....

Had to re-educate them, show them there was a time before their "commercialized" world.I love my children ,but...

  • Muito bom, muito bom mesmo!!!

Lembro quando era criança e meus irmãos escutavam essa música.........

    Tempo que nao volta mais.........

  • Can't help but let your love flow for those polyester pants.

  • There's a reason - why I love this song so much. And there's a reason why I can't get enough of it.

I remember back in the '80's, Joy Dishwashing Liquid made a commercial using that song

  • Normally i get pretty pissed off by poor miming - but for some reason it makes this even better!!!

  • fuck, id hate to mime.......

    top pop song but.

  • This song makes me happy enough to cry. So does the song Blue Sky - ABB.

Just amazing stuff. Such talent, such raw talent. I love blues, I love rock and roll, I love talent and expression of it, that's what life is about.

  • It sucks for the person who had to set up all those TVs.

  • Thanks God people did not have cell phones with cameras when I used to dance to this. Polyester slacks with the huge cuffs, platform zip up the side boots, and who knows what kind of shirt. And thought I was cool! Times and fashions have changed but this music will always be the best ever. It sounded so good on 8 track and the girls looked so good in halter tops. The MEMORIES will last for decades to come. Thank You For The Post!

  • @hotstuffandicecream very well said.

  • The beauty of this song: It was ahead of its time when it came out back in 1976. That's why it's still popular today.

  • @Modeltrainguy

I would venture to say that, not just ahead of it's time, I consider it 'timeless'.

  • hahahahaha, damn i love this song!!!

  • Keine Ahnung, irgendwie gefällt mir die Version von Drews besser :-)

  • oh my gosh i use to lisn to this song when i was young in the car soo much!! im 17 now! and i still love it. A really good song xDD

  • HA!, oh dear, im using that one

  • So let that wonder take you into space

And lay you under its loving embrace

Just feel the thunder as it warms your face

    You can't hold back.

John Young and Bob Crippen were singing these words as Columbia lifted off at 7AM Sunday April 12th 1981

  • I remember it too. A smash hit.

  • Great song! Let your love flow was once the official commercial song of Levi's jeans

  • a very good song i like very much but it seems lip syncing was in videos a long time ago

  • Oh, yeah. ABBA was possibly the worse offender in lip-synching.

  • Boy, I remember this song ;)

  • vaughn monroe, ghostriders in the sky or try

johnny cash, I walk the line.

Both are classic country music songs.

    THANKS!!!

  • I love this song, but their lip-syncing in this clip is awful!

  • "Masterpiece"

All other words just get in the way.

  • @davearonow What about

    "Amazing"

    "real music"

    "Epic"

    "one of a kind" lol

  • Ha ha - takes me right back to when I was just a sweet little girl in highschool! Wonderful.

  • What are those things on David's guitar? Great, wonderful, fantastic song!!!!

  • "Let your love bind you to all living things.."

    That is truly thoughyt provoking.

  • I have always loved this song...now it's on a car commercial. (Prius, I think)

  • Where are the mics? Lip-sync?

  • ah yes !!!! the 70s

  • This is one of THE best pop songs ever created. It was a huge hit in South Africa when I was a kid, and in later years, travelling the globe I've heard this song played everywhere from Santiago to Singapore. That "folksy country pop" sound seemed find favour with music fans all over the planet in the 1970s.

  • this song and only this songs lifts me so much

  • timeless lyrics!!! it(this existince on this plane in this lifetime) is really all about love!!!! BE LOVE!!!!

  • great song!!!

  • Ahh I've been looking for this clip since I saw it on a Time-Life infomercial. I wonder if this is from "Musikladen"? The only other show it could be is "Disco" but their logo is usually right up on stage. "Musikladen" was known for all their weird chroma-key effects (seen in the background here). BTW: This song was insanely famous in Germany which is why I suspect they're were on Musikladen.

  • At the beginning of the clip it says "Kultnacht". I assume "Kult" is short for "Kultur" (culture) and "nacht" mean "night". Was (is?) there some kind of regular German variety show that features things like this called Kultnacht?

  • Great song. It puts me in a good mood when I hear it.

  • Dies ist ausgezeichnet

  • classic

  • may seem weird, but i only know this song from those toyota commercials that came out recently, and it made me love this song so there ya go:p

  • barclaycard not toyota

  • Wow the 70's! just makes you want to take a cruise down the near the ocean and breath the fresh air and take in nature.

  • Aww man thanks for uploading this,

    that is one killer moustache

    and an amazing song,

    it's beautifully 70s.

  • Clearly lipped, but still a beautiful song. The chords for the song are easy too, so it's easy to jam out to :)
