@polydrug Heaps of people use the tr-909... but that doesn't mean all their tracks sound similar. The placement of the synth stabs in conjunction with the high hat pattern in this song just screams 'positive education'. I can understand why Rene Pawlowitz released this under an alias... as its hardly creative. He even said in an interview there is no 'artist' behind these aliases. Just dance-floor fodder. Which i think is fine as long as its not overly derivative, like it is in this case.
