years ago before i was born my grandfather told me when he was in military sationed somewhere in washington the airforce piolets would always come in talking about glowing balls of light flying beside them. Okay, so it's obvious that were watching a helicopter in fast forward. a. You don't own a camera that can zoom in and out that fast. b. You must live close to an airport because you keep catching planes on final. It is fun to watch though...

Okay, so it's obvious that you don't read the descriptions. I stated that it is SPED UP. And, in numerous other replies, it's been made clear that the fast streaks are airplanes. As far as a helicopter, I've never seen a helicopter fly in the same area for nearly 2 hours. It was not behaving like a helicopter, let's put it that way.

Again after watching this video several times, I have to say this is a pretty amazing video. I'm convinced that this is a UFO. Look at the image from 3:57 and tell me this is a helicopter. Then goto 4:23 and you can actually see the shape of this object.

It is not a laser-pointer. And it is not a conventional craft. It had a pulsating light which seemed to be in front and looked like its cylindrical in shape. And for a change the this was filmed on a tripod which makes the movie a great one. Brilliant capture!

For those of you who said it's a laser pointer, you're wrong. You can clearly see 2 lights on the object numerous times in the video, as well as see the object rotate with the lights on it. Look again. This can't be a plane or a helicopter either. No plane or helicopter can move like this. I'll have to watch it a few more times to comment any further.

Just keep in mind that the object is moving much slower in "real life" than in the video. I've never insinuated that this is some ET craft, my family and I just noticed it and thought it was behaving rather oddly. The "laser pointer" people crack me up. Like I would videotape a laser pointer for an hour and a half, then speed it up 600% and post it to YouTube.

This looks like a helicopter to me. It could be aiding police in a search for someone at street level. Surely if an unidentified object were seen in this airspace for more than an hour, they would have began diverting to another airport, the 100 or so aircraft which passed through this area during that time.

It looks like airplane moving more or less toward the camera to me.Especially when you see 2 lights and they flash. The next time the planes from an airport 50 miles away use the right landing strip, I'll take a video of them and see what it look like.

You guys gotta read the description, man. The video in "real time" is 1.5 hours long - it is sped up 600%. The fast lights across the screen ARE airplanes, but the other thing was extremely slow moving and was in virtually the same part of the airspace for over 1.5 hours. During that time, it went back & forth, up & down, etc. It is NOT an airplane.

It is an airplane awaiting permission to land. The reason why it is really bright at first is that it has its aircraft landing lights on. After given the order to hold they were turned off.

Right. And, when you see the object sit in the same place for 5 seconds, it was really more like 5 minutes, since the video is sped up 600%. I've never seen a plane OR a helicopter sit in the same position for that long.

My guess is that it's some kind of experimental craft from nearby Nellis AFB. I'm doubtful of the extraterrestrial craft theory because it has lights, and my question about lights in the sky is, why would a ship from another planet or whatever have "lights" as we know them?

Perhaps... I've never seen a helicopter remain in the air for over 1.5 hours though. And, although it's hard to tell because the vid is sped up, this would remain in the same spot for sometimes up to 5 or 7 minutes, just hovering. Thanks for the comments.
