Dressage riding boots have been difficult to put on for 300 years, LOL.

They were designed when young men and women had a servant

staff to put them on. The rider would hold both sides with hooks, while

the servants secured the hooks, buttons, and side buckles.

Go to a Boot store and either get German hobbnail boots, motorcycle

boots, or find the twin hooks, and pull the boot straight while others fasten it.

Our rugged landscape made their use in pitched battles difficult and their use for travel on the execrable roads was inefficient. How long have there been horses on Hawaii?
