hi! i have opera mini.. and android 1.6 mine aint mini 5 is it? :\ when i go to the settigns and the application ( where you go to unnistall the app) says version 2 so.. if i have opera mini 2 for android , or soemthing.. can you plase tell me if you have javascript in yours? (cuz i see you have android 2.1+ thanks : D btw awesome review

@RicardoLima1992 You may want to check the android market for opera mini and re-download it. It should say Opera Mini 5.

so did it downgraded itself or something?

@dogman683 I believe Opera just updated their android app to opera 5.1. We haven't made it to 6 with android just yet.

nice vid but ur wrong bout one thing this browser works on almost any touchscreen phone..i have on my samsung impression and i love it!! wayy better than the default browser. if u have a samsung touchscreen phone type in getjar.com and the touch the search tab and type in opera 5 you'll definitely find it!

How do you set this as your default browser on the Moto Cliq. When you click on twitter links or links in a text message it uses the slow standard browser on my phone. I would like Mini Opera used instead if possible

opera mini has been a good prog for years. a few years back it was a lifesaver on nokia s60 for cutting down the amount of bandwidth used for websites when it wasn't 'unlimited' :)

this is an app the has a really good interface and animated too, smooth and simple. great browser, dev's should take a tip from this u.i. and see that this is what we need something that functions as well as can be shown off.

I have opera mini 5 on my Droid, Nexus One and 2 older Dell Axims. it works well and fast. Its the Fastest mobile Browser i ever used. I have Opera mobile 10 on Dell Axim and its slow. also SkyFire on my Dell Axim and it is Slow. Mainly because Dell Axim Doesn't have much ram 64mb i think. nice Vid.
