i actually bought the pedal some time ago i was just looking at how others like to play it

i happen to like the tone almost all the way up and the sustain almost all the way down but you work it pretty well

yeah, the Big Muff is a true classic, no doubt - it deserves a place next to other classic pedals, like the Fuzz Face, Ibanez Tube Screamer, MXR Phase 90, EH Small Clone chorus, etc. I'd put the Vox and Crybaby wah-wahs in that list too, although the Crybaby came about because Vox didn't patent their product, so Dunlop just basically copied it. I actually like the sound of Vox wahs better! (I own a Vox 847 wah)
