Hugh Laurie is such a brilliant actor, with great versatility in roles, be it BBC comedies, or dramas like "House"... I also adore Rowan Atkinson, and his ability to portray a snarky, disgruntled character/Antihero...
I have to say that Tim McInnerny/captain Darling doesn't get anywhere near as much credit as he ought to. He plays captain Darling just fantatsically, every time. Fry, Laurie and Atkinson are clearly my heros in this fanstasic series, but I place Tim McInnerny on the same level and see him as an equal to the others.
There's a great moment in "Peter's Friends" When Hugh's character meets Peter again, and Hugh goes: Baaah, and Stephen just winks and pints knowingly:D
@trident3b well, of course, since the full episodes are about 30 minutes long. And mind you, this is not Monty Python, it's Black Adder, a completely different cast and show. ^^

Flossy the Rabbit? Possibly the reincarnation of Flossy the Sheep...
-You remember in Cornwall, at the monastery, there was that old shepherd with whom you used to talk?
-Good lord! Jenkins?
-Yes. I was one of his sheep.
-His sheep? Not-?
-Yes.
-Flossy?!
-Yes.
-But didn't we-?!
-YES, LORD MELCHETT! BAAAAAAH!!!!!!!
