  • What about a Blake griffin logoman 1/1 rookie on eBay

  • I sold my Mantle rc for $25 10 years ago! I'm really pissed that I didn't know it was worth that much!

  • @iHateMyLifeandFamily

    Damn.. that sucks dick

  • i got a 1952 mm for 50 cents @ a garage sale

  • @rooneybirdy nice

  • honus wagner was a shortstop

  • The honus wagner card isnt worth what u said... its 300,000

  • @nikolaz1020

this video was taken a long time ago. The price has gone up.

  • @nikolaz1020 Hard to believe, but its true, heres a copy and paste from baseballcards101. "This near mint to mint example graded by PSA recently sold for a reported $2,800,000. "

  • @nikolaz1020

No sorry bro last one sold in auction sold for 2.8 million bucks. look it up.

  • I have that Babe Ruth but PSA 6. Yet to see something higher on ebay. Also, these prices have to be a PSA 10 cause those are some top dollar comanding prices.

  • check out my vid... its about my top ten baseball cards

  • now i swear to god my dad has the honus wagner I SWEAR TO GOD!!!

  • If you guys like Baseball cards, please check my vids out thanks!

  • Where did these values come from? PSA 10's maybe...

  • @nrossc17 Well I was wrong they aren't the very worst but they haven't had an above 500 season in 3 years.

  • @bestwaffleg I know I was saying they aren't the very worst.

  • @nrossc17 Mets are the worst team in the NL east and will be for a long long long time.

  • The book price is simply a guide to price cards, not an actual value. Like all cards they depend on the condition. If the 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth card was a perfect ten mint it would go far beyond beckets $8,000

  • good info,thanks

  • i have 2 ted williams cards and the authentic

  • why are cards so expensive?

  • if have a diferent type of Willie mays

  • MICKY MANTLE IS BEING GAVEN AWAY BY TOPS

  • honus wagner one was sold for 4,000,000...

  • are those the most expensive because they were signed? If so you should provide that information in description.

  • I got the joe dimmagio..My reasonable price for it is about 1000-4000$.Not 45,000.

  • Your prices are way off, buy a price guide.

  • What nummber 1 costs more then my house and appliances combined!!!

  • Why would anyone pay so much money for a baseball card. To me anyway you look at it its just a picture.

  • mantle card is more valueble its number 2

  • Forbes says most expensive cards

One Wagner rookie card miraculously survived the last century in near-mint condition. Dubbed the "Gretzky Wagner" after it was purchased by the hockey star for $451,000 in 1991, the card sold for $500,000 in 1995, then for $640,000 in 1996, $1.265 million in 2000, $2.35 million in March of 2007 and $2.8 million in September of 2008. Fleischer estimates it would bring $3 million today--and that a comparable Ruth rookie would go for $3 million to $5 million

  • i found all of these at a yard sale

  • i have the honus wagner jackpot!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @spartinjordon44 theres 3 in the world, nice try.

  • @Pkftmfw Actually there are about 30 in existance. But I dont believe that guy either.

  • My neighbors dad used to collect baseball cards and his son is little and hes gonna let me trade my cards for his old ones and he has a honus wagner card and im trying to get one

  • @ApBassBoy All of the Wagner cards are accounted for. If you're going to be full of shit, don't be so obviously, and embarrassingly, full of shit.

  • if i ever get enough money to buy the honus wagner card im gonna put it in the spokes of my bicycle :)

  • I recently inherited a old trunk from granpas attic... It has these cards called goudy 1909 packs in it(they are un opened) There is 9 of them what should i do? haha just kidding, figured i would get in on the gravy train of joking too :) What a dream huh... lol sry

  • Pittsburgh #1 again

  • LMAO! An 8OC Willie Mays ain't $55,000. A fucking straight 8 Mickey Mantle from 1951 Bowman ain't $55,000

  • hey i have a huge sport card lot for sale. tons of cards, way to many to try to explain. book value exceeds over $20,000. im looking to sell the lot so if your interested please reply on here or text me cell phone at 724 877 8360. i will email you pictures of the cards with your request.

  • These are probably auction prices. No way some of these cards are worth that much.

  • 1:53 heys a rapest

  • my uncle has mickey mantle now thast why he put it in his steel safe lol. and told me hed kick my ass if i i tryed hacking in

  • what an amazing collection.

to see daily news in the sports memorabilia hobby, please check out my web site

    SportsCollectingNews. com

    thanks,

  • these cards are condition sensitive and thats what really dictates the price. a $30k 1952 topps # 311 mantle is one existing in near mint condition. a mint one that graded 9 or better would sell for around 80k or more. its the history and rarity surrounding these cards which drives the price up. why does a rare painting or coin sell for millions .becuz not many exist and if u want to be the only 1 on the block w/1 ur gonna pay for it.

  • shoeless joe

  • i dont ahve to watch this to know that honus wagner should be no. 1

  • thousands of dollars for a piece of fuckin cardboard... pathetic...

  • @13098519 Actually Millions of dollars and how is that pathetic? If someone has the cash to spend let them spend it on whatever they want!

  • @uwysh2 - Yeah, your right.. but still the principal is just stupid. Probably cost half a penny to make the card and people spend millions just because they want it? What people place value in these days is just incredible... If I really wanted a card that bad Id just make one and be completely satisfied with it. Probably more so than the original pending on how good a job I did.

  • why would you pay that much for a freakin card

  • T206 Plank and Magie cards are worth more than many on this list.

  • I Got The Mickey Mantle One When I Was 10

  • @TDizzle1542421400 You got a copy of the Mickey Mantle one. The only one thats worth something is the original.

  • @TDizzle1542421400 my dad has i think a metal version of the card

  • @TDizzle1542421400 do you still have

  • @TDizzle1542421400 There was only like 26 made in the world so I think not.

  • @TDizzle1542421400 sell it?

  • most of those prices are way off. babe ruth books to $8000 and the mantle books to $30,000.

  • @Phillipsfan1 Just wondering home come ruth books some much lower then mantle

  • @zzCELTiCzz Mantle cards was from 1st year of topps and is his rc

  • @Phillipsfan1 Thats what they sold for NOT what they book for... If you are going by Beckett prices you are way off real world prices! Condition and Grading on Vintage cards makes a world of difference in price.

  • Comment removed

  • @Phillipsfan1 there right

  • Several fakes out there be careful. The 1933 Goudey collection may have the most fakes of any baseball card collection ever made. Make sure to purchase high end cards through PSA/DNA with verification info on each card.

  • I don't know where you get your prices from.. but unless it's graded about a 9 or 10 (aka near impossible) I have NEVER seen a 52 topps mantle sell for 97 grand. A friend of mine recently sold a BVG authentic mantle for $4 grand... most that mid grade (IE 4-6) will sell around 10g's.

  • @Imac7065 There are actually 3 known 1952 Topps Mantle cards that are graded Gem-Mint. I don't know if any of them have been sold but a PSA 10 1951 Bowman Mantle sold for $600,000 on Memory Lane Inc. so I think the '52 PSA 10 could sell for at least $1,000,000

  • if i had the kind of money u need to blow on theese cards i would be doin the same thing

  • @grizzlyballer01 You can get a few of these cards proffesionally graded for about $300-1,000. These prices are just high-graded specimens that sold for that amount

  • i have a holographic ted williams card from 1993. its so holo that u cant see it

  • OMG I HAVE ONE OF THE ORGNIAL MICKEY MANTLE CARDS SHOULD I SELL IT YET OR NO

  • @lrdmrh13

sell it if you need the money but keep it if you are a serious card collector

  • funny comments below :)

The T206 Wagner is scarce not Rare. There are a couple thousand Tobacco cards rarer than the T206 Wagner (ie every T208, T209-2, T213-1, T213-3, T214, T215-1, T215-2, T216, T217 etc.. There are about 65 known T206 Wagners (I have pics of 29 of them myself). It was pulled from production because the Pitt sportswriter in charge of getting his permission was rejected, for 2 reasons, Wagner wasnt to be paid, and because he didnt want his picture in a pack of cigarettes.

  • Your list is not accurate at all, I can think of a dozen cards offhand worth FAR more than your #10-#2 cards. ie the 1893 "Just So" Cy Young ($150K+), 1909 "Cabanas" Pete Hill ($125K), 1914 "Baltimore New" Babe Ruth (routinely sells for $200K-$500K), T206 Joe Doyle Natl (low grade example sold for $190K), T206 Plank (many have sold for $100K+), T210 Joe Jackson ($100K+), N172 PCL players (many dif. and all sell for $50K+++), etc. etc. there are over 200 dif cards that sell for $50K+

  • I saw that Mantle card at a police auction! Sadly, it had a huge crease in it, but that didn't stop a lady from paying $12,000 for it.

  • this is not right so stfu the person that made this video

  • Wow what a bunch of ignorant comments and that list is not right nor are the prices!

  • The way things r going, pretty soon ull have 2 add a triple threads card there

  • @TheToppsMan dude triple threads cards are goin downhill fast

  • there is a huge gap between the 2nd and 1st prices

  • what does a 22 kt gold babe ruth card go for

  • HONUS WAGNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2 million for a pitsburg pirates player dam

  • @SpainPat12 wagner had the card pulled out of the packs becuase he didnt chew tobacco, theres like 12 in the whole world

  • You should have mentioned the 1913 babe ruth card from the baltimore newspaper. Only 10 known right now.

  • BUYBASEBALLCARDS.WEBS.COM!!!!!! RAFFLES AND CARDS!!

  • I have 2 of them

  • @tommy33401 no way really?

  • @jazzmusicplayer now I know there fake bcuz the person that made this video told me...

  • @tommy33401 damn bro that sucks well if you don't have a conscience maybe you could rip someone off lol

  • @jazzmusicplayer Yea maybe I can rip someone off. LOL!

  • @tommy33401 yeah lol do it!!!

  • And I have Honus Wagner same everything

  • LOL I have the same Mickey Mantle Card!!!

  • @tommy33401 so does like every collector becasuwe they made alot of fake ones of that card its like 40 bux for a fake one

  • One of these days Ken Griffey Jr.s iconic 1989 Upper Deck #1 rookie card will be in the top ten.

  • @kmtdog1 Sad to say this but that card will never be in the top 10 and I am a Junior fan myself. There are millions of that card and you can buy a 1989 factory UD set for 40 bucks.

  • Awesome assortment of quality cards.

  • Was the DiMaggio card supposed to look ridiculous?

  • @38ddkelly that how it was a comic card

  • @38ddkelly yeah it was bubble gum pack for kids

  • Who has the money to buy these? I could have one in my collection of 40,000 and not even know it...

  • That song was not welcome to the jungle

  • I want the Wagner card

  • i have the ted williams card isnt that beast

  • Eddie Plank T206 and Babe Ruth Baltimore News should be on the list. Stop making comments if you know nothing about baseball cards you retards. Take all your Bonds, Griffey and Arod cards and run along to your schoolyard and play tradesees kidees. These are serious cards for serious collectors. The prices listed are past sales of these cards that have been graded by reputable grading and authentication companies and are found to be in mint condition or better.

  • item number 320585109072

     on ebay

  • somebody buy my cards

  • i have the ted williams card and im 14 years old. I kid you not.

  • @ezra417 yeah, you can get it for about $300 in poor condition. it's not that hard to buy.

  • dude honus wagner cards are the most rare in the world. those cards are definetly the best. nice list!!

  • Wagner was a SS.Part of the decline of card collecting came in people who did'nt know a SS from a RF and were more interested in "investing" in cards rather than collecting them.

I've got thousands of TOPPS from 1971-83 and I'll never sell any of them. They are great memories of being a kid and loving the game so much. They're for my Sons to enjoy some day....or my Grandchildren.

  • What about mutton chop yaz

  • not to sound like a complete dick here but this video's comments are ridiculous, shit like

"i had that napolean lajoie card, does it mean im rich??" fuck no, and further more, its a reprint, rare vintage cards dont just come out of nowhere, but reprints do!

    and other crap like

"i had #1 on this list but i threw it away"

nice failed publicity stunt jackass, what do you want us to say, do you want us to be like "OMG holy crap"!!

all im thinking is FAKE FAKE FAKE

this videos prices are also off!!!

  • @KardKid1996 I agree with you on that. Unless it's your grandpa's card or something it's gonna be a reprint. But the prices are just the most expensive of that card ever sold, not like the book value

  • @KardKid1996 prices are off cause it was 2008 when it was made, but I do agree sometimes people are dunces with their claims

  • @baseball1949 , yeah, but i mean there totally off, if the card was graded a 9 sure, but these videos usually give the mid grade prices.

  • @KardKid1996 You can't say each card is not the right price. It is only a piece of cardboard with some ink on it. Maybe costs 25 cents to create, IF that.

Memorabilia and collector's items are only worth what that specific individual wants to pay for it. There is no correct price. There is an estimated price for all collector's items, which is just an estimate, nothing more.

  • 1. T206 Wagner 2. 1914 Baltimore News Babe Ruth 3. 1910 T210 Old Mill Joe Jackson 4. 1909 T206 Eddie Plank 5. 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle 6. 1909 T206 Sherry Magie "error" card 7. 1933 Goudey Nap Lajoie 8. 1914 Cracker Jack Joe Jackson 9. 1916 m101-4 Babe Ruth 10. 1948 Leaf Satchel Paige 6.
  • why is the honus wagner card worth so much?

  • @nitrousinhalement , there are only about 40-50 known to exist and honus wagner was one of the most talented players to ever play the game.

  • @nitrousinhalement It is extremely rare.

  • someone help!!! i have a 1996 Pinnacle Select Certified blue mirror Hideo Nomo card, and i looked it up on sports lizard and it popped up at 500$. but i took it to my local card dealer and he said its worth 3.95$?

Its so cool. Please watch. Please comment and subscribe.

  • ok since anyone dosent know anything lemme explain it

most cards post WWII dont really count as vintage sure the 50's are worth money but when u get to the 70's 80's and so on not really to many worth too much also companies in the 80's over printed cards massively. players like barry bonds rookies dont sell for more the $5. and someone dosent own all these cards these are just pics from google. so get your facts strait! and also little kids your jeter topps cards is worth shit!

  • omfg i got that card thatnapoloen lajoie 1933 goudey gum card omfg does this mean im rich????????????? i need help findin a place to sell it and the value of it now!!!!!!!

  • @lu2353 perhaps yours is a re-print? Check if your card on the rear bottom, it should say the year it was printed. If it says anything other than 1933, its a re-print of the original, and not worth anywhere near as much.

  • I had that number 1 but I did not think it was worth any thing because I just started collecting and I threw it away

  • Just a small point, Joe Jackson was with Cleveland in 1914. He was traded the next year.

  • Yall may not belive me but I am distantly related to Babe Ruth. Ya see my grandma's great great uncle was Babe's Great Grandson. Creepy huh!
