This and many other shows on Fox Kids and the like made up the majority of my childhood. :) I have some damn good memories of being glued to the couch watching shows like this and Goosebumbs. :) I miss those days, but I've got Hello Kitty, Harry Potter and Gears of War now. An odd mix, maybe, but they all make me pretty damn happy. :) Kitty more than anything, though... I love her. :') I'm a girl by the way. ;)

could just be me, but wasn't optimus' left jet damaged during the first confrontation with the predicons thus why he couldn't fly to safety during the battle on the bridge? If it wasn't then why didn't optimus fly to safety when he almost slipped off the bridge, or grab dinobot and fly to safety when they were being attacked by the rest of the predicons?

It would have put him at a high risk of getting hit, but it still would have been a better bet then transforming and jumping off thebridge.

Oh man, Dinobot was my FAVORITE character of the entire show! Hardcore, badass warrior, down to the bone! Like Lt. Worf from Star Trek: TNG. Dinobot was the only Maximal who understood the Predacon mind well enough to be able to defeat them. I liked how he and Optimus Primal often got into arguments over the fact that Primal could not be as ruthless as Dinobot was.

Hand drawn (or digitally drawn) cartoon animation will always be pretty much the same, the only thing that changes is the style: Transformers original to Transformers Armada to Transformers Animated for example.

Computer animation has advanced greatly since this show was on, look at the Michael Bay's Transformers movies.

It's not a matter of fixing it, it about improving it.
