  • Why would 31 people give this a thumbs down? I mean why leave a negative comment at all. This is fun and 60;s..with great images. Its not the classic original but a great up tempo breezy version nonetheless. Its harmless...so just enjoy it. Visit my 60's channel for more.

  • very good,thanks

  • this sound like mr bungle's more pop songs

  • Wow, sounds soo much like Batman Theme and kinna like Spiderman!!!

  • Well done!

  • Aewsome triplets from Reno, Nevada, if I am not mistaken. This is on one of my Girls in the Garage records.

  • "accomplished ";))

  • oui, great song :)))

    i love the beautiful pics

  • If this hadn't been identified as The Kane Triplets I would have guessed The Manhattan Transfer. The past year I really got into spy and detective TV series of the 60's and 70's (both British and U.S.). It seemed every show on TV had hot girls that could kick my ass (Honey West, The Avengers, Girl from U.N.C.L.E., Batgirl, Wonder Woman, Charlie's Angels, The Bionic Woman, Agent 99, etc.). What an awesome decade it was.

  • fabulous...really cool!

  • I used to love watching The Avenger (Los Vengadores) as a kid back home, in the sixties; This was all in spanish -

    She was gorgeous..!

  • thanks to michelle66 for the lyrics...was trying to figure them out! much obliged!

  • Lyrics - part 3

Run - Don't try to hide - Don't stay inside - I'm gonna get you

Get on a plane - Go far away - But any day - I'm gonna get you

Don't be afraid if you may find, I'm on your mind,

    Don't try to fight it,

    Love's a waiting fuse, you can't refuse

    We're gonna light it!

Fly away - Disappear - I'll be there - Waiting

No matter where you are bound - I'm around - Waiting

    etc.

  • Lyrics - part 1 (Sorry about the formatting, but for some reason, YouTube wouldn't allow them to be posted in the proper form. (Anyway, I did the hard part...!)

Fly away - Disappear - I'll be there - Waiting

Run high - Run low - Don't stop - Go

No matter where you are bound - I'm around - Waiting

    Hypnotized - On a string - Following - Wanting

    Lead me there - Anywhere - I don't care

    Cannot stop - And I won't stop - Till you're mine

  • anyone have the lyrics to this?

  • Great selection. I would also include Linda Marlowe in her white halter in "Big Zapper" (1973) and Shirley Eaton in "The Girl from Rio" and "The Million Eyes of Su-Muru".

  • Who is the lady with the eyepatch?

  • That's the revenge film "THEY CALL HER ONE-EYE", starring Christina Lindberg. It was one of the inspirations for "KILL BILL".

  • this has got to be the sound that the girls of the B-52's were going for. cool

  • that was fun! except for the last few girls, which I did not understand.

  • Diana Rigg... Sigh, I had such a crush on her.

  • Diana Rigg.. I was walking around behind her in the bar of the Aldwych Theatre on the first night of "Belcher's Luck". She stepped backwards for a moment as she chatted with her companions, and practically punched through the top my shoe with her stiletto heel. That was in 1967. You could say she had a crush on me. :-(

Quite a tall girl, Dianna Rigg.

  • I also "nearly" met Helen Mirren, when she was still at school and aged only 15. It is true to say she was a terrific actress, even then....

.... and I thought she would make a success of it if she became professional.

Seems I was right, eh? ;-)

  • Nice..

  • jajajajaja me trae recuerdos que nunca tuve.

  • she's a sexy one.

  • sigh....women were women back in those days...

  • sigh ... They had hips and butts and boobs back then!

  • Another great `Spy music´ song from the Sixties!

  • GREAT!!! simply great!!!!!

    shwishwishwish

  • Nice Job - Thanks !

  • vive rollin hand!!!!!!!

  • Dear Funkroll the inventor and designer of Valentina,Guido Crepax,is Italian, not French!

  • I know; after I typed up the Info essay, something happened to the edit function where it won't let me correct the mistake. There are only two videos out of all the dozens I've made where it doesn't let me alter the essay. Strange.

Thanks for letting people know about Crepax, I appreciate it!

  • Thanks to you!You have done an amazing work!

  • The Ministry love the 'funknroll' future

  • pretty much sum the 1960's super chicks

  • Supercool ma'man! May you live to be a thousand!

  • I'm convinced that quirky 5/4 time signature was the inspiration for Jethro Tull's "Living In The Past."

  • this is so cool!...before my time but awesome....'get a load out of that'....GirlPower even back then...lol...

  • They Call Her One-Eye!

  • POW!

  • Damn. What a collection (both Modesty Blaises, impressive). Though not technically a spy, I think Honey West belonged in there somewhere).

  • Almost as good as Sammy and Hawaii Five-O

    watch?v=O-1FxQY9794

  • tnx for instructing us, would you credit the media for having this "power" to shape the culture of an entire generation?

  • CHEVERE,excelente combinacion de imagenes y musica

  • Nicely done. I must say I am biased toward Diana Rigg as Emma Peel. She was my first crush.

  • Emma can Peel me anyday....

  • Pretty damn cool! This song is very swinging, catches the spirit of the 60's mystery TV shows. Love it.

  • Oh the cool swinging sixties! Yeah baby, yeahhh!!Emma, Nova, Tura, Haji, Barbarella, Modesty, Batgirl...!!! Great Song!!!

  • who played that version of the tune ?

    It's so good !

    great vid

    thank you

  • Look at the title of the vid.

  • i love this music soooo much. damn good!

  • OMG! I'm in love! Girl from Uncle! I have a lot of these pictures and love, love, love the video. Keep it up, Tym!

  • Innumerable consternation descended, overwhelming the frail disposition of the small child, rendering her docile mind useless, crushed under a tsunami of grief, insuperiority and unimaginable trauma. Her limbs swam in the murky waters of abject frenzy. She had no control over her rationality. Everything seemed to be enveloped in vacuous darkness, except it, the grotesque horror - a creature from a realm unknown to man, the bringer of fear.

  • This is simply amazing! I must have watched this four or five times in the last hour as it's that fookin' great.

  • Good stuff, but how does Kim Hunter in The Planet of the Apes fit into this?!!! Even as an ape, she was hardly a femme fatale! Marlene Dietrich was sexier in her gorilla costume!

  • yeah, like WTF, do housewives even exist anymore?

  • ^^^^^^^^^^^

    I hear ya

  • They don't make tv like they used to. What happened to all those magnificent women in wacky fancy costumes. These days all we get are flourescent lifeguards who get into trouble and bored housewives who need arousal. And I miss the catchy tunes. Almost all of today's shows lack that oomph. Let's sign a petition to the producers.

  • Very cool rendition! I hope Steven Hill has listened to this! Lalo Schifrin did a great job with the music!

  • It was a favorite tactic of TV producers with "instrumental" themes, to write lyrics to the music, so they would be entitled to half the royalties for the composition.

  • And I have Lady Snowblood. I' am one lucky man.

  • Beautiful piece to look and listen too!

    thanks

  • ahh good ol' 5/4 time.

  • Awesome slides! Nice work. You obviously put a lot of care into finding, choosing and organizing those rare pictures. Totally compelling. Thanks.

  • This is honestly very fun and cool to watch! Congrats to you. Wanna help me with some band promo? I'm totally into makin this scene. -Davey Love

  • Uff qué bonito, y casi 40 años.

  • someone can give me the name of the song, thanks very

  • Be sure to check out the companion video, "ALICE SHIELDS -STUDY FOR VOICE AND TAPE (1968)"! It's above and to your right, on my channel, with the photo of Uhura!

  • So cool. Linda Thorson A.K.A Tara King was always my favorite Avenger girl.

  • Cool...I need the lyrics, please, to sing along...hehe

  • Groovy.

  • Quentin Tarantino would love this

  • Sweet Song.
