@allproductions Please seek the Lord before you speak such things against His Spirit, and against His Word. The Lord is indignant and mournful at those who would be to pour dirt on the Name of He Who washed your feet! We need reform in this church!

But correction is needed when people are saying speaking unnecessary things about ministries and the way they (correctly) refer to the spiritual gifts. I do not think IHOP is perfect, nor do I agree with everything Mike Bickle says. But you should know what "prophesy" means before you say that. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

This is something very real, and for those who are anointed in it, it can be a powerful Godly weapon used to make advances for the army of God. It is for the glorification of the Lord, and must be led by the Spirit. I train people in this gift, and it is actually (and no condemnation) a grievance to the Ghost to speak in that manner without being backed by the Word. Amen.
When David went before the most high king and gave his offering of dance this is what he did. I am so blessed that I can do the same with Heart of David. But she has pushed me to go further. let me dance break down every wall of Jericho in people lives and heal nations. There are people here that cant do the same and we should be glad that we can.
This touched my heart to tears.lol. the holy spirit really moved her in a beautiful way. And she really was dancing exactly how i feel about god. it was awesome. we should all worship god this way forgetting how people may look at us. Praise god!
@nagzul but why "prophetic dancing? i see it as a freestyle. i dont think God is telling her to dance, she probaly feels like the dancing is pleasing to God. i realy think that word is overused at ihop.
@AgeDrain God dosn't ask for your obediance, he asks for your heart. That's what she's giving him. Dancing is an expression of the heart. "God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him." (1 John 4:16) Any Expression of love is an expression of God. It does speak to others, and it does effect the spiritual atmosphere, just as any other expression of love does.
mrs54321blastoff it may have happened in the OT but the NT is the law that we should go by. The NT is the New covenant, and the new law. Also this is never mentioned in the NT as a way of worship. Plus "prophetic dancing" is not in the bible at all. Zephaniah says He sings over us. Psalm150 says that, but once again it is in the OT.
The NT is the OT fulfilled. It is still the Word of God and we do not disregard it. We don't live under the law and perform animal sacrifices, we live under grace. However, Do you still tithe? That's OT. Do you sing to the Lord? That's OT. Does God still create, forming babies in the mother's womb? That's OT. It's funny that in the NT, there is a deacon in the church at Jerusalem named "Prochorous" (Prochoros-Greek) The name means "LEADER OF THE DANCE"!!!!!! Praise Him!!!

How is dancing and hopping around praising God? To me this is distracting. If you want to praise God, just pray to him, study, and come together with christians to study and learn from each other.
@allproductions If you read Psalm 150 you will find that many things you may not expect are praise to God including dancing. God even dances over us. Read Zephaniah 3:17. God can even heal people when they are dancing to Him. He healed me of a thyroid nodule when I danced to Him.

Thats what God has been placing on my heart, to dance before the Lord at my church during worship, even those others might not do it. You be the first. It blesses others and releases freedom into their hearts!!
Wow thats awesome it reminds me of when my mentor and I dance before the Lord its like he takes over your body and your body does moves that you didnt even know you could do! the fast spinning thing I cant normally do unless I'm given over to the lord because I get so dizzy but when I do it for him he takes all of that away I've spun for five min strait no joke and not been dizzy!! that is just a little bit of the power of Jesus! Praise the Lord

WOW - that was absolutely beautiful and so intimate before the LORD! This young lady exemplified passion for our KING and what I loved the most is that she didn't have a care in the world nor was she concerned about who would see her for she knew that JESUS eyes was on her and drove her to her knees as she glorified HIM in dance...
