Though I must say that the whole Rampage vs. Forest "scandal" is way overanalysed by most people. I thought that Rampage won the fight, but I wasn´t shocked by the decision. The fight was very even, unlike the scandal decision in the Hamill-Bisbing fight.

My only other disagreement is Griffin-Evans. I agree that it's a very tough fight to call and that Evans has a lot of advantages, but I'm expecting Griffin's size, reach, cardio and heart to pull him through to victory. Even though Evans is the undefeated one, for some reason Griffin seems seems to have that intangible quality that some winners have... I find it hard to bet against him.

Great analysis and great video as always. I agree with you on all your predictions except two.

First, the inexplicable fight that nobody cares about: I think Massenzio will beat Dollaway. He has better wrestling (even though Dollaway beat him in the finals of a national championship one time, he himself admits that his wrestling is inferior) and better Jiu-Jitsu and also he seems stronger mentally. I think Massenzio will out-wrestle him and either submit him or G'n'P his way to a decision.

I agree with all your picks except Evensen and Barry. Although Barry has amazing stand-up, I feel this fight could go either way, providing Evensen realizes his only chance is on the ground. Barry keeps pointing out that he's basically a striker coming into MMA and I really don't see him having any ground game at all. Probably worse than Kongo and McFederies combined! Evensen by submission or TKO, or Barry by KO. Fight will not make it to decision.

I agree with the Evanson/Barry fight. It's definitely NOT going to a dec and if Evansaen DOES take it to the ground, I'm sure it will be an easy win. But, he has to get it to the ground and his wrestling/bjj is far from special.

As for Rashad's record, the UFC's site embellishes records regularly. They had Kongo at 20-4 when he fought CC and make people undefeated when they weren't. Fight Finder and Wikipedia say 12-0-1 and I don't see anywhere other then UFC's site that says otherwise.

Rashad had bulked up for that fight, he was a lot more lean in his fight against Chuck. I honestly don't think cardio will be an issue, he trains with one of the best camps out there and they'll have him ready to fight 5 rounds. Griffin will have his block knocked off.

Sharp and accurate vid. Something people haven't seemed to mention is that Evans & jardine have been training together for a few years now. I know this is a pretty well known fact but just wanted to mention it because I feel it adds to Rashad's favour. Evans has the skills he just needs to prove the work ethic for high cardio to hang with Griffin. Hpefully he realises the importance of this opportunity and trains to his fullest because that could the deciding difference between victory & defeat.

I'd like to see Wanderlei Silva win this fight but I just can't see it happening. In Pride he had aggression, precision and a little finesse but all I see now is the aggression, pains me to type this cause I wish it weren't true but he isn't the same fighter anymore.

I just can't see him doing anything but swinging wildly and getting KO'd by Rampage.

Yeah, it's a little disappointing that the 4th fight of the main card isn't so great. Ever since UFC bought Pride, I've been waiting for a show where they pulled out all the stops. Looking back, it's amazing on some of the Pride shows when all, or at least 6 or 7, of the fights could be the headlining fight. So just once I'd like to see all 4 UFC main card fights be potential main events. Oh well, 3 out of 4, getting closer.

Judges may have been biased but Forest still beat Rampage. Fight was even going into last round and Rampage let Forest own center last two rounds. This was a fight where octagon control going into final rounds justifies the win.

If judges were biased, as seen in first round scores, it works against even Forest, since it sullies his victory. Both Rashad and Rampage are good wrestlers with heavy hands. If Forest can beat Rampage, he can beat Rashad.
