Yes, The League of Crafty Guitarists. Good idea is to look for someone around your town who is a part of the Guitar Craft, while best way is to go to one of the courses - look for the guitar circle of Europe site.
There is a lot of great stuff that can be very inspiring and helps to develop great technique.
My favorite record of the LoCG is Show of Hands, one of the best guitar album ever recorder IMO.
There are lot of records and courses were regularly held in the USA. Contact Guitar Circle of North America trough guitarcraft dot c o m and ask about the way to get connected. There is great project in Seattle called Tuning the Air (I can't post any links, try to google it). I know that there are a lot of people from Mexico, so maybe 'in the middle of nowhere' it is also possible to find someone... In Poland I know of 3 people and we all live like few hundred miles from each other... Cheers!
@WyattTheGuitarist Tuning used is sometimes called New Standard Tuning and goes from C-G-D-A-E-G. It requires special string set - with thin violins and tough bass strings - otherwise violins tend to break and bass strings tend to get out of tune. There are dedicated strings, but you can simply make your own set from single strings.Site: guitarcraftguitars dot c o m / vgstrings dot h t m l (I'm sorry for the strange way of putting link, but yt seems to block ordinary links)
