thank you for sharing these infos, and congratulations for winning your personal battle against cancer. I'm writing a graphic novel about a 20 years old character who is affected by this devastating and frightening disease. Could you give me some advice about how to portray her eye (in case she has unilateral retinoblastoma)? The pictures I found show mainly babies' eyes and I'm not sure if in adulthood they stay the same. Thank you in advance, have a nice day.
Great video, i was wondering if i can have your permission to take some information of this video and use it as a research for a school project. Is that okay?
Sure you can use this information, it's not really mine to give away, lol. I made this years ago so my memory is foggy as to where I actually found the information but I'm pretty sure I found most of it on the websites that I mention in the video.
My daughter was diagnosed when she was 9 months old. We were lucky to have caught it before it spread any further than her eyes. She had to have her right eye removed but the left is still intact. No one in my area knew what it was. We need to make others aware of this disease. It may save someone the heartache that we have had to go through. She is doing very well now
I was diagnose with retinoblastoma when I was 17 months old and now I'am 14 years old. I was happy that I was still alive
