we are just back in belgium from mexico(maya route)and it was very nice over there, we never had the feeling that it was unsafe to drive around in the country!we did 1800 miles and had never any problems!thx and grtzzz dan/kim

we are going on the 7 of september!is it still save to drive around there(with all the drugcrimes)?we have a rental car and drive around for 2500km's in yucatan(the maya route)?greetings

@kamandalu Don't worry - totally safe. Just stick to the daylight hours and you'll be fine.
