I am a Coram boy though I wasnt an orphan but just a poor a child who spent much of his younger days building sandcastles and playing in the grounds of wonderful Corams Fields in Bloomsbury central London.In the grounds founded by the amazing 18th century retired sea Captain Coram. I used to beg my late much missed dad to take me to Captain Corams statue where he would sit me on that kindly old gents knee,it was one of the highlights of our walks.
