  • Hey everyone, welcome to the movement! If you have not gotten yourself a copy of the new revolutionary ebook, "American Epitaph" by Damien, you should go check it out! It was inspired by and comes from within the movement.

  • Bless you, I also feel we are not here just for others to make money off of.

  • CC are like blades. If you slip while using them? You will get cut. And dealing with BOA's cc is like running with a sword. In the dark... with your shoestrings untied... Drunk... In the Winter. BEWARE of this bank people. They are out to get you.

  • Credit cards are a scam period. I don't plan on carrying a balance ever again. If I can't pay for it in cash, I can't afford it. If everyone eschewed credit, prices on all sorts of things would come down. It would hurt, but so does being in debt.

  • did chase or boa, force you to go and charge your card. if you were a true patriot, you would be responsible for YOUR actions. If you can't pay your balance, you chose Debt.

  • Knucklehead -- I paid off my balance the next day--obviously you didnt watch the whole video and probably just enjoy condemning people....BoA thried to TAKE from me...that's usury..and remember they change the rules anytime they want..

  • fuck them. BOA sucks.

  • Here's the deal folks: the banks are squeezing everybody and when their squeeze pushes some over the edge they have to squeeze those who remain all the harder. Look into Advanta Bank and what's happened to it, because that's the template for what's happening to the other major banks.

Ann Minch is fighting back, and so should you ... but if the banks have already pushed you under then you need to know how to fight against what comes next--and that's where my book comes in. Check my channel.

  • "And thats where you pay me more money that you dont have" is more like it. LMFAO. hahahah

  • you didn't have a problem using the card so you shouldn't have a problem making your payments in a timely manner. pretty much all credit card companies will impose the default rate which is over 23.99% when you default especially 3 times. deciding to NOT pay your credit card because the bank imposed the provision of the agreement that you obviously failed to read placed you more at fault than them. that's the biggest problem w/ todays consumers. they don't read the supposed "fine print"

  • 2 things: I was 1 day late jacking my interest by 20% is over the top and wrong. Second, I promptly went down and paid my balance of $5200. If you stopped pontificating for a moment you might have picked that tiny little detail up...

  • in your video you mentioned that you had been late a few times. i understand boa's terms and conditions thoroughly b/c i too have a card w/ them. 1 late payment doesn't trigger default pricing. if i worked at boa, i'd ask you for your first and last name, access your acct and take a deep look at the last 2 yrs of your payment history and your rate history. just like rockerchic, i'm sure you're only telling your side to win sympathy points. i bet there'd be plenty of defaults

  • i hate to burst your bubble but when you borrow money, the purpose is the pay it back and avoid defaulting. i've worked in the credit card industry for 10 yrs and it's made me a more well "informed" consumer. consider that late is late. for you to default thrice in 12 months makes you more the bad guy and not the banks. if you loan money to someone, how would you feel of you don't get paid on time? what i see from yourself as well as the woman is a lack of accountability.

  • I wasn't as smart as you were. I just sent in the balance of what I owed and canceled the card...crap!! Had I done what you did, I would have saved some money. Oh Well, Capital One still didn't get to screw me out of future money.

  • you paid late 3 times in 12 months so you broke your agreement so deal with it

  • I did deal with it knucklehead...I paid it off...

what part of that don't you get? I guess by "deal with it" you mean its ok for them to shove anything down your throat... well open up joker, you're the kind of guy they're lookin' for..

  • Everyone read "THRESHOLD THE CRISIS OF WESTERN CULTURE" by Thom Hartman ISBN: 978-0-670-02071-1

Do not believe anyone who is corporate. Lets end the fiefdom culture now and end voodoo politics. It is time to reestablish the Sherman anti trust act in full force. Tax these rich bastards to 70% like we used to. Funny the railroad barons this was aimed at never complained and made plenty of profits.

  • I pay 17.95% API on my card VISA. Another bank offered me a card at 1.99% for the first 6 months on transfers from my card. And 12.99% fixed after that with no more than 14.99% if I ever am late 3 times.

Called my card they couldnt or wouldnt change. So Im changing cards. There are always some banks that will give you a better deal. And if someone down the line offers a better deal. Well you know.

  • Paynemdp,

Well, it looks like her little revolt DID work, and they DID capitulate.

    Good for her.

    Who's STUPID now?

Wait, 'cos I KNOW you'll have to think on that for awhile...

    IT'S YOU !!!!

    Dumbass...

  • paynemdp - she's not even close to being stupid.

  • Banks are NOT in business to be "moral." Most (big) banks make decisions that benefit THEM and their shareholders. No doubt, BofA hammered you. In return, you paid off your account...because you could! You now are VOTING with your wallet while letting other know about this abuse.

The "debtor" whose revolt begins now thinks NOT paying is the way to stand up to BofA. She thinks her little YouTube rant will force BofA to capitulate. Not a "ballsy" stand. That's a STUPID stand.

  • The "means" that one chooses to achieve their "ends" should be moral, including business big or small. It's plainly obvious that no business enters business to "be moral," but they should achieve their end of realizing profit without slipping into immoral practices. This practice of extracting money in the manner described is, in my opinion, immoral.

  • Further, I don't think the lady is taking a stupid stand, its quite courageous, and as she states, she's willing to accept the ramifications, i.e. ruined credit etc. This is always the circumstances under which any "revolutionist", if you will, operates ---with the knowledge there is a lot to lose for standing up to injustice or for principles. Sorry paynemdp, while I can follow your logic, I just can't agree with you.
