i noticed that turbo engines when exceeding 200km/hr their performance just weakind.... if you take acceleration from 200 to 240 u can see that my car do much
@homeaway0 But it's only a 2300cc Turbocharged 250hp engine. That is incredible! A Maserati Quattroporto would reach a similar top speed of about no more than 290km/h. Mazda ain't that far off...
I wouldn't be shocked seeing the performance of any car in the world, no matter if its japanese, france, german, us-american or whatever. You know that your time was fake, as I've proven in my last comment. Which you didn't disprove yet, btw.
Another tip: If you want to accellerate as fast as possible, don't let the DSC light shine, because it reduces the engine power temporarily! You can keep DSC on, because it interacts very late. But only use the gas pedal as much as your wheels can handle it.
Shixxor is right. I drive a 3 MPS (2007), too. Shifting at <6000 saves fuel and is better for the engine. Plus, you have more accelleration. Look at the data sheet: Maximum power is at 3000rpm, maximum torque is at 5500rpm. After 5500rpm, power and torque decrease rapidly!

@HeLeX63 : Yeah, and a Formula one would beat the shit of a Maserati with one finger clack... Thanks, Mr Obvious, your work is done here...

@ insanepolarbear
In South Africa we dont have 98, the best we have is 95.
I have even tried the octane booster NF Race 6 NON, slight difference, maybe its time the car gets some tuning done
caneyard 1 year ago
i also drive the MPS and it doesnt go that fast, maybe its the fuel/petrol i am using 95
so this does not look stock standard
caneyard 1 year ago
@caneyard The MPS3 runs on 98.

Definately downhill. As can be seen @ fastlaps *dot* com: 0 - 200 25.1 seconds. Here: 19.8 seconds.

Your comment is disproved by what happens when he shifts into 6 at 200kmph.
He was definetly not downhill.
