so clearly it was a joke...and i said trillion not billion and as far is "our money" i will say two things...one the "money" they are spending isn't really ours as taxes isn't something that we go "oh...how much you said i owe you gov't" its simple a number that a piece of paper says has been deducted from our checks..so we never had it and two in todays age no one uses cash not even the govt so when they spend the basically just wire a number from one place to another

if your employer tells you they are paying you a certain figure annually, but you are not actually taking that figure home because the govt has taken a cut of it, then what would you call that? i make 58 grand a year and bring home about 49...9 grand of those trillions (sorry i said billions before in error) come from just me alone...not to mention whenever anyone buys anything a cut of the cost again goes to the govt.
