Ocelot and Snake are settling a 50 year score... This is not Solid and Liquid fighting(at least not in the second half), this is Big Boss and ocelot fighting!  Snake's health meter even says Naked Snake when it gets to the MGS3 part! My only regret is not having the money to buy a PS3. :'(

I felt so bad by the end of this game when it turns out that Ocelot and Big Boss actually held the ideas I agreed with morally and Snake was working for the Patriots(even if he didn't know it). It felt like I was the bad-guy and I was betraying all of my beliefs of what freedom should be. I mean I still love Snake but Ocelot and Big Boss are awesome and they both end up dying as a result of Snakes involvement.

So many mixed emotions :/

Makes the fight even more awesome and good for the story line, seeing as how Ocelot had altered his mind to be like Liquid to trick the system, and never was actually possessed by Liquid. The new games are supposed to cover Liquid's story too, according to the creator of the series, so so awesome, such a great artist! Even cooler is that Liquid didn't have the inferior genes, Snake did...he was mislead into believing that. Liquid was the better of them

this fight represents the history of the rivalry between Solid Snake and Ocelot. It also serves as a purpose to change Liquid Ocelot's personality back to Revolver Ocelot's personality by beating his face in. As the fight drags on, both Liquid's personality and fighting style shifts to Revolver Ocelot's. In the same way, his fighting style goes from being more brawl-type to technical, which makes sense because Ocelot idolizes Big Boss, and must have learned CQC after MGS3

@DrJTP6 Good question gave me something to think about. In this fighting scene i would have to say it changed from Liquid-to-Ocelot-to-Liquid (correct me if i'm wrong). However I would say in the game in general it would have to be Liquid's fighting skills since he was in control of Ocelot's body. I mean you could even say that since Ocelot's physical capability was impressive Liquid got the most out of Ocelot's body. Ocelot's physical condition had a lot to do with how Liquid was fighting.

When ever Liquid ocelots sees snake he turns into liquid. see it went from liquid to liquid ocelot to ocelot.. That was really ocelot at the end

You guys do know liquid was never inside Ocelot, he used Liquid's nanomachines and hypnotherapy to act and think like Liquid but Liquid spirit was never in Ocelot. He did this in order to fool the Patriots.

I think theres clues in this fight scene.. when ocelot says some old quotes or something

MGS4's story and amount of time with the gameplay may have been a complete disaster. Ocelot's self hypnosis and Liquid coming back as a goddamn arm may have been such ridiculous bullshit. Raiden being reduced to a whiny, brooding Grey Fox rip off to appease fans who found him allegedly whiny in MGS2 may have been completely absurd. The Patriots being nanomachines may have been a complete facepalm.

But this fight is still one of the best parts of the entire series.

@roygib09 actually no that's wrong i gotta correct myself. The Patriots were a collection of AIs not nanomachines. Don't know why the hell I put nanomachines in there. However, nanomachines do play a large part of the story and apparently are the source of Vamp's superpowers.

And just in case somebody comes along complaining about spoilers: you guys shouldn't be looking up videos of games you haven't even played yet if you don't want the story spoiled by either the video or the comments.
