I am tuned down to E flat, the tuning is standard but all the strings are tuned down a half a step, this was how SRV tuned his guitar because of the heavy gauge strings he used, hope this was helpful and thanks for watching!!

SRV and Jimi both played the barre chords with their thumb wrapped around the E string so they could to more with their pinky and ring finger. they didnt usually use the A string in these chords because of that but you dont really need it.
