Interesting. Try substituting with other Doritos flavors like Spicy Nacho, Taco, Cool Ranch. or even Habanero (which has become rather hard to find in my area).

There are also guacamole-flavored tortilla chips (not a Doritos brand, as i recall) which should work fine as well.

If i were to make nachos i would first add some cheese on doritos and bake it so its like x2 cheesy chips then i would do the meat tomatoes cheese etc

then i would spread the spicy cheesy sauce on the x2 cheesy nachos and add the finishing touch of jalapenos! yummy spicy cheesy yum yum!
