@assasindragonboy that was an automation clip, i think it was not for the volume, but for cutoff, you create one by clicking the cutoff button or turn thing(or any button) with the right mouse button and click create automation clip,

@asianboi64 Hi mate :) when I start off I used 3x Osc and Sytrus, there are good presets there, try the preset Pure Bass 4 in 3x Osc or Synth 2 in sytrus along with a 'Gold saw' (Trancy) preset and also a 'super saw' (violin), for acid bass and trance frogs TS404 is excellent, fruity has all the essentials you need to produce, you need to tweak and experiment with each control there is, just in channel settings alone you can add delay, arpegiatte and do all sort of tweaks, ;)

Yeah for FL studio alone, I recomend sytrus and 3x osc, they are excellent for techno/trance, etc.

it's a sidechain effect, you can use peak controller in the beat and link it to a vol control in the synth track channel :)
