I probably missed something but, I didn't understand why the opponent didn't block the titan the first time it attacked to prevent the recursion?

@BloodnutXcom i can't be sure what was going on through my opponent's head but i'm guessing it had something to do with the fact that he knew i had the anthem in my hand so i could keep recurring the sun titan (and consequently get an extra < 3 CMC card for free if it went to the grave? like i said i'm not sure, but that would be my guess...

I built this and changed some things around and brought it to FNM, it raped. Something like 4 match wins and 3 draws I think because of how ridiculously long matches can last while playing this deck.

I have some ideas like putting Lotus Cobra in to power out turn 3 DoJ's and splashing Eldrazi's like Artisan of Kozilek. I'll see how it goes and nice deck btw.

he couldn't play spells, you were 100% to win as long as you just kept attacking so the only variable to the end of this game was how quickly you were going to kill. You should've played your anthems just to do an extra 10ish damage per turn, and i would say you should attack with your manland but that would actually just take longer to activate then the time it would save. Also, why the heck did he not block your sun titan with his pridemate o.O

The second most ridiculous game i have ever seen. The most ridiculous involved one player with over 1 million squirrel tokens and the other with infinite life gain. haha

i had a game where i had 2 dozen platinum angels vs. a guy with an infinite life gain deck. he was at well over 1,000,000,000 life with me at -1,000,000,000 (he had sanguine bonds out). nothing he could do except deck out after all his wraths were gone :)

@noze23k13l thanks, it's a fun deck to play with as well. it seems to get out of a lot of sticky situations even with the release of scars (or perhaps "especially" with the release of scars lol).

@Joe11Blue i have but just a few games. i think it is still viable but i would be switching the list up a bit. o ring would be there in place of J2N main deck, and i think creeping corrosion would be a good SB card as the deck has no artifacts. also solemn simulacrum will be switched in place of the cultivates, as that card is amazing and will be really nice in this deck. i was also considering brutalizer exarch but i'm not completely sold on that one yet....

@st0mpf3st That's close to what I was looking at. I'm not sold on the Angel that kill's tapped creatures though. Can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. I'm thinking Elspeth Tirel in that slot, would bring the curve down as well.

@st0mpf3st Standard had been stale for a few months with Caw decks running rampant, so I wasn't paying much attention to it either. Now that Caw is dead I have been interested in Standard again. I play a Zoo deck in Legacy myself.

nice comeback. Iona did a nice job of locking him out while you bashed away over 300 life. good thing you had some fatties, otherwise you would have milled yourself trying to drop his lifetotal.
