Hey 1st of all, this is a pretty spotless technique, perfect for recurve, It doesn't matter how far away the target is for practising form, and recording yourself is one of the ways to see flaws.
1st she sets her stance, Then relaxes and calms down, then draws the bow and finds her anchor point, aims, then releases in one fluid movement and her follow through is perfect.
Also for dedacated how do you get the rotation? I've tried it a few times but with no success
I really think all those braces and gaurds you are wearing are ridiculous, and that whole letting the bow teeter downwards after the shot is just for style. Not really a criticism against you but modern archers in general, they are real wimps.
@Fadsmashers- you apparently know nothing about recurve lol
you are like a ignorant guy who is comparing handgun with rifle
just FYI, chestguard prevent your cloth or boob from getting caught by string. Which you will probably not need, since you will be shooting at a huge target and need no accuracy
downward movement comes from not holding the riser (know what riser is?) to make bow hand more stable. I hope you are smart enough to know relationship between center of mass and stabilizer.
Not sure where you are in progress with BEST method, so ill refrain from commenting on corrections/observations seeing as how this video was made in 2009 and the form has had additions and clarifications added to it. The shot was executed strongly tho. Keep up the practice!
horrible. the bow arm is not correct and why is she comming from down this takes more force to get into a good and stable position.the releas is also way to wide so it will get unstable. I think I should make a video of me shooting.
I have shot without looking before, while working to improve my bow arm, but never for any other reason. I'm so particular about making every shot by best shot, that I don't just "shoot an arrow". I should try to just shoot sometime as you mentioned. If I do, I'll make sure to post a vid.
do you ever do speed shooting and shooting and not aiming with the eyes and aiming with the heart? or mounted archery on horseback. that is what i am into and i just wondered if you do that. take care
super creepy face

What's with the bow release? Is that an "in" thing now? I never understood slings except for the purposes of never dropping your bow by accident.

@Fadsmashers You are wrong on every point because you have absolutely no clue about archery. Nice job making a fool of yourself.
