I just have a pit of advice that could save time for you and your viewers.

Instead of selecting the background on each frame and filling it in, you can use the history brush tool and apply the same effect to all the layers.

Also, you can go to Window > Animation and select how fast you want to frames to move.

How come when I use the background erasing tool it also lighten the color on the edge of my sprite? I am making a Riku sprite and the background is white.

It's because of your tolerance level. On the top menu, when you have the Magic Wand Tool selected, you can change your tolerance. You'll want your tolerance at 100.

What I suggest, is just tamper with the tolerance until you get the desired effect. And as for the animate option, if you don't have this version, I'm afraid I can't help you.

Yeah, I know. It's just that so many sprite sheets are in .gif format, that I gave up on doing that. Because, when it say's "Index", you can't unlock it. So, I just use that method for every sheet.

First, you must choose the file to be saved as a .gif, then you set the frame delay to .1 seconds. You may want to test it by clicking the small button in the lower right hand corner of the "Save for Web" page. If you like it, simply choose "Save for Web" on the "Save for Web" page (I know, sounds confusing) and then name it and select the folder you wish to save it in. Hope this helped. :)

What you do, is you select the background with the Magic Wand Tool which will select all of the colors that are the same as the background, and then hit delete. But, remember, like I said in the video, you will have to copy everything, and then delete the background layer first because its default is not transparent, it's white. After that, you simply copy and paste your background and move it to the bottom of each frame (in the frame window) and the merge the layers with the transparet bground.

You can doubleclick the background to make it a normal lyer, so the BG will be Layer0..

When u double click the Bg a screen will pop-up.. just click Ok.
