Saw Lichens (aka Robert Lowe) open up for Boredoms on 9/9/09, & I have to admit that he was a really pleasant surprise. I recognized him from TV on the Radio, but had no idea what a talented man he was. Absolutely could hear a pin drop until he finished, then the crowd erupted with applause. Enthralling.

Totally.. I've seen EITS a couple times now and this was by far the most incredible, energetic performance. They said this was their largest show yet where they were the headliners, so I think they were just totally stoked and on fire.

And I understand that it was improvised, but it was a little too repetitive... however the loop effect was really cool. it just went on and on and on. i guess i just wasn't prepared for something like that. he was an amazing musician though.
