YEA the nordiques dont suck... look at the roster at their 94-95 season... Forsberg, Sakic, Foote, Ricci, Deadmarsh, Thibault, Fiset, Laukkanen, and many others, if u were to put that team into the 10-11 Avalanche... thats a scary good lineup... and put other nordiques players, like Sundin or Rucinsky... they be stomping all over Ovechkin...

Im a Bruins Fan, and one of the best games i EVER watched was back in like 1991 when Ron Tugnut had 70 saves against us, what a performance,,a few of the Bruins went and Congratulated him after the game.. @jojosavard69 If you look at their histories you'd see the Rockies moved to NJ and became the Devils winning 3 Stanley Cups, and the Nordiques moved to Denver becoming the Avalanche winning 2 Stanley Cups. I'd say both are respectable franchises.

Yeah, but what you're forgetting is that Roy was a MASSIVE part of those Cup-winning teams in Colorado. If the team stayed in Quebec, there wouldn't have been a chance in hell that Roy would have been traded to the Nordiques; there would've been anarchy in Montreal if that happened.
