Blues is just as uninteresting as malmsteen, in my opinion.

Technical skill has nothing to do with the blues. Blues is about feeling and emotion, which he has in his playing. No one gives a shit how "bad" he is. He's famous and had a career, you haters aren't.

Please, GuitarWorld, more. This man was a hero to me. I learned to play his stuff when I was just learning, listening to my grandmother's records. I know you may not listen to these comments, but please. There is so little of this man and his spirit, and we could all use more of that. I think we can all agree he was a joyful and giving man of character and talent, and we can't let the blues die.
