On Sunday afternoon, August 26 2001, Lisa Gallagher [41] from Ohio was fatally injured during her final approach for an swoop accuracy landing on a raft in the middle of the pond. She was using a conservative carving approach and then did a left hand turn towards the pond. The left side of her Crossfire 89 (loaded at 1:1.4) collapsed three separate times... ...Lisa was air-lifted to a near trauma center where she was pronounced dead one hour later.

I'm one of the people who shot this (the second camera in this video). I'm horrified to see this footage has been released, let alone put in some stupid YouTube posting. Lisa (the jumper) had her canopy collapse on final approach and was killed in front of her Mother, son and boyfriend, all of whom were sitting in the stands. Still think this is a funny posting?

I know that this is a very tragic video and I feel bad for friends and family, BUT.......WTF is up with the guy who jumps into the water off to the right side of the video? There were already 4 people at the victims aid before he even hit the water. Why didn't he just run AROUND the water? Kind of funny......slow kid to the rescue!

This was a fatal, her name was Lisa, this was during a swoop competition at the range. Not due to turbulence or broken lines, she was under a Crossfire 1 made here in the states with the wrong line trim causing a manditory recall and reline of certain Serial Numbers.
