Hi! A quick tip for making your loose powder easier to work with is to put cellotape over the holes (after tapping down the powder that's sitting in the top, of course ^_^) then puncture a few holes through the tape so you have more control over the amount of powder that comes out. Fellow passengers on your commute will thank you for it haha

I tried on/bought the new perfection lumiere foundation (it's already out in the States)..it is a dream! Beautiful finish, lasted 16 hours! Seriously, I really think you should try the new foundation out before you stock up on Mat Lumiere!

A lady i used to work with has worn Estee Lauder Night repair for over 25 years and she swears by it! Shes over 60, and honestly doesn't look a day over 40!! It is a gorgeous serum! Not cheap, but definately worth while.

if you open the pot of the loose powder and tap the bottom of the container then the powder will go back trough the holes and won't go everywhere

Ok, im totally going into my shoe-seller spiel now, but in future if you buy a pair of shoes or boots that are made of really stiff leather, or just any that are rubbing, buy a stretching spray. They are amazing, you just spray the inside and outside of the shoe, wear them for like half an hour and it forces the leather to supple up and stretch to your feet. Seriously a life saver for my feet! xo

I have perfection lumiere and I am wondering how it compares to Mat Lumiere, if someone from Chanel can comment that would be great! I find Perfection Lumiere quite matte and love the dewyness of Pro.

I am really looking forward to hearing more of your thoughts on the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation in the future so I hope you still plan to? :) I saw your Cosmo Blog Awards vlog and noticed you looked super tanned whilst wearing shade 6 which worried me a little - I have shade 5 at the moment which is too pale for me but 6 seems as though it may be too dark! Would you say shade 6 suits you when you are a little less tanned? xxx

@lydiaoc26 To be honest, I think shade 6 is one of my palest foundations - but I went for it as it was slightly yellow toned which neutralises my skin a bit better than shade 5 did. From what the lady on the counter was saying the shades don't go up in number order exactly, so it's probably worth going in a getting a few samples xx

I'm so glad you also felt your Allegras gave your feet hell on the first day (not because I'm a sadist but because I bought a pair on Friday and wore them all day for the first time yesterday and they have given me blisters not only in the usual places but even on the tops of my toes!) My feet are still attempting to recover today.. so happy to know that they do soften as I'm in love with them but had a serious moment of hatred towards them yesterday a la Monica in Friends! ha ha.

I have allegras too, I absolutely love them! I've heard mixed reviews on the comfort, but for me their perfect. Great for wearing to uni when i'm going out for drinks the same evening and don't have time to go home before.
