When you started talking about how you had nothing to do most of the time you were cashiering, I thought, "You should write a poem while you're waiting." I guess great minds think alike ;) I'm sorry you lost the poem, though :( When I used to write poetry, I would sometimes keep a poem in my head so I could write it down later, mostly I guess because I was most creative when I was taking a walk.

Talking of fast food, its a good thing your burger emporium, isnt near me. Id be round breakfast, lunch and dinner to talk about poetry. With all those burgers fries and doughnuts, Id get so fat Id probably explode.

Years ago when I was in retail management, I was forced to actually reprimand a guy for writing poetry on the clock. It was the DUMBEST reprimand I ever did because in my heart I knew what he was doing was far more worthwhile than any of the tasks at hand. But he was also dumping work on others as a result, so I had no choice.
