My husband and Dad passed away months after Obama won. My father of African American and Scandinavian descent and my husband, an African American, got to see the 2nd greatest thing that could happen, to America, before they went home to be with the Lord, which was and is the greatest thing that can happen. I cried when President Obama won because it showed the World that a NATION we are not a bunch of War loving Rascist. As a child of Slaves brought to America I thank All Americans who voted for change. To all of The White/Asian/Indian and Hispanic Americans You should be very proud of yourselves for voting for change dispite color. I was very proud to be a American that day. Unless you Are African American you may never know what that day felt like to US. The Children of African slaves. THANK YOU
I remember this song when it was January 20th the day we made change in washington. I got up and on tv the song was playing. Obama is my man! he is awesome. It was a beautiful day when we made change! Yes We Can and Hell Ya We did! Viva Obama and Viva Obama. He Is My Man and He is also my President
Only President for a month and already saved 90% of Americans who were about to lose their homes from that fate.
Has cut taxes for the poor and middle class and is now raising taxes on the rich from the fat cats, to the athletes to the actors/actresses who as we all know are overpaid.
I'm thankful and honored to be an American again. The entire world needed this change. Let's all work together and do what's needed to make this last 8 years!!! Peace & Happiness to all....
