  • Well done videos! I really appreciate the extra effort to creat quality instructional videos!

  • I do t want to offend anyone here, but governments who dont get a free health care service can go and get stuffed. My grandad had a transplant for free recently (I live in England). if he had had to pay I dont think he would have been able to afford it. Places like America are basically savage. They allow the rich to thrive and they leave the poor to die. Its that simple. NHS is the war foward!

  • @TsoLan1 (I meant to put NHS is the way foward not the war foward!)

  • this has helped my medical history coursework cheers

  • It still amazes me that America has free education but not free health. Surely health is of greater importance than education? I guess over there you go to school so that you can earn enough to pay your medical bills when you're older.

  • as i recall we still have the option of private quality healthcare in Britain for those who can afford it

but the NHS doesn't exactly have u sharing beds with 5 other ppl in grungey hospitals infested with rats either

  • #welovethenhs

  • as it was said at the time "Britain now holds the moral leadership of the world, that healthcare should be provided on the basis of need not ability to pay"

  • Australia also has a free health care system.

  • The NHS is something that we should rightfully be proud of, and fight to maintain

  • I would love for my country (the USA) to create the National Health Service.

  • A Primary Care Trust is a beaurocratic nightmare of power crazed middle and upper management.

I.T. Millions have been spent and will be spent to complete NPfit. The IT costs for the NHS will, I expect exceed all other costs in years to come. Maybe one day we will just be treated by a computer, now that would save money.

  • This might amaze those of you in the States, but the British NHS still exists and still works. In London there's quite a bit of pressure on the system due to the number of people, but in recent years my experience of it has been fantastic. Extensive treatments- all FREE and HIGH QUALITY. We might moan about it, but really we Brits are the luckiest people on earth when it comes to healthcare. Don't believe the propaganda! The NHS works!

  • Thank you. I wish the Americans were as enlightened as the British in terms of healthcare and other public services. One of my heroes were the (socialist)British Labour Party government of Prime Minister Clement Atlee which lasted from 1945-1951.

  • I wish we had something like here in the U.S

  • It still works in parts!

  • Wow! A government project that, for the best part of 60 years, worked as planned. Now that's amazing by today's standards.
