Sawyer Brown has consistently done good updated versions of old classics. Check out their version of Six days on the Road. They Should Do "The One I Loved Back Then". Sawyer Brown is amazing and he has some of the most "grip you by the heart and make you feel" music out there. I love this song. I also love his "Cafe Down on the Corner" and "All These Years" There is a song called, "I Was Almost Home" by Craig Morgan, I wish he would do a cover of that song. I would cherish both :D

Noticing a rather strange similarity, not sure if it's just me, but at 0:05-0:10 when he's punching the air, in that stance and outfit, for some reason he makes me think of David Bowie...

dude I love driving to this song. lol. Was released in 1989 (the year I was born.) Good fast country song. I never heard George Jones' rendition though.

Saw them in Pensacola, April 1991, opening for Hank Jr. They were awesome! Actually, they were better than Hank, who was so drunk, they had to push him out in a chair!
