After watching half the video, all I've seen you using is your shotgun. The pistol has great uses too, believe it or not.. If a target is running away, use a pistol, you don't always have to go close and blast someone with a shotgun. Just a heads up, this is quite an old video and you're probably better by now. Have fun playing TF2.

Demoman is one of the hardest classes to play. It takes complete skill and prediction of your enemy's movement path. I recommend starting with Pyro or even Heavy.

demo scout and sniper are really the hardest jobs to master in tf2. sure you can spam stickies and hide on demo but thats barely the tip of the iceberg on playing demo effectively

Scout is relatively easy to master. You're basically in the same boat as with the pyro's w+m1. "Run n' Gun + random movement"

However, I agree with demo and sniper as being some of the tougher classes to play effectly.

pyro's w+m1 is not mastering, its picking up. scouts easy to pick up, but the gun is hard to master. go play scout in a 6v6 and see how well your "run n gun + random movement" works out

I've played scout in 6vs6, and the best soldiers are ludicrously good, the best soldiers can air rocket you even if your jumping over their head in a predictable pattern. 6vs6 is not pub games....

dont use scout in the beggining. it requires good aiming which might be difficult if we r still newbies. use demoman or pyro to improve ur aiming.

Good joke. Only really shitty servers have fast respawn. Those servers are meant for CS kids that play Fortress 2, instead of TEAM Fortress 2.

On the server I play gravelpit defense as a scout is literally impossible. The attacking team ALWAYS runs in together. Defending against 14 people isn't really possible as a scout :(

You could use the Pistol more frequently, the Scattergun has a huge damage falloff with distance due to a pretty big stray AND individual bullets doing less damage the further they travel. You seem to be using your Scattergun quite a bit for shooting from a distance where it probably deals around 15 Damage per shot. It's a better choice to pump some pistol rounds into them so you have one or two more scattergun shots left over when you get into close combat.

I play a lot of classes, but I'm best with Scout and Soldier. I also play Demoman, Pyro, and Sniper some times, but all depend on the map and situation.

The rest of the classes I just fool around with. I think I can play Engineer well enough, but it's just too boring a class I find, and I have to admit that I want to shoot people, so Medic isn't really my thing.

I suck with Heavy and Spy :p

This guy plays quite a bit like me. Attacking from above is almost always the way to go with a scout when you can swing it, and he does it well. Really the scout isn't so much hard to play is that he uses the map a lot more so you have to know the maps very well. Well, don't *have* to but it helps a lot.

I think the main thing that people do wrong with the Scout is that they run headlong into opponents hoping to kill them before they die.

My first death in this video is because of doing that, but I did it to stop them from capping, so I think it was worth it.
