What pisses me off the MOST about Christianity and their God is that he got awfully friggin' lazy on us. A couple thousand years stupid, inbred, uneducated individuals wrote down how God did all kinds of cool stuff. I mean awesome stuff, like zombies in the streets, food falling from the skies, and rivers turning to blood. But these days we don't get a damned thing but shadows and funny looking toast.

God is spiritual in nature, and people come to believe by the spirit, not Science. Yet u keep saying "we need proof"..we can use arguments like the Kalam Cosmological Argument, the Fine Tuning of our Universe, the fact that Evolution doesn't account for the ORIGIN of life, and u still will say "how do u know God did it"...I believe Atheism is the religion of the animal world, but I really dont give a sh*t what others believe...so to EACH HIS OWN!
If God says without faith it is impossible to please Him why are you guys trying to use science? God says it is faith so if you guys want to see if He is real you must obey how to find Him.
We're not trying to please god; we're trying to determine whether or not he exists. I can also tell you that if I found out that the Xian god existed tomorrow, I wouldn't worship or love him - he's a grotesque, murdering sociopath (and that's according to the Bible, which he supposedly commissioned on his own behalf).
A god that requires faith has absolutely no cause for complaint; if he wants believers, he should offer some proof that NOBODY could dismiss or explain away.
If those are his rules, then I object to those rules. I think it's ridiculous to create something, and then hide and expect your creations to believe in you on pure faith..Especially since i'm the type of person who CAN'T believe something on pure faith..and if I don't, I'll burn in hell for eternity..If he is real and I do face him, and he sends me to hell, I would tell God that he's an asshole.
People have a misconception that to be an atheist means that we have to attack religion, when in reality it's the opposite. By declaring to be an atheist, we invite others to attack us and we have to defend our position.
A main thing all atheists want is to not be meddled with by theists, since they don't provide evidence. We're being meddled with all the damn time (religion-inspired law, bible-thumping, millions of people wishing us eternal torture..), so some of us push out to stake our spot.

I think a pretty good reason why there are so many fat atheists is because a good portion of them are online trying to convert others to their religion. Look at youtube...its crawling with them. Thus they are fairly sedentary the majority of the time. Perhaps that explains it.

Like I said before some schools do not teach sex ed well or at all because of protest from the religious right. People have a misconception that to be an atheist means that we have to attack religion, when in reality it's the opposite. By declaring to be an atheist, we invite others to attack us and we have to defend our position.
A main thing all atheists want is to not be meddled with by theists, since they don't provide evidence. We're being meddled with all the damn time (religion-inspired law, bible-thumping, millions of people wishing us eternal torture..), so some of us push out to stake our spot.

I think a pretty good reason why there are so many fat atheists is because a good portion of them are online trying to convert others to their religion. Look at youtube...its crawling with them. Thus they are fairly sedentary the majority of the time. Perhaps that explains it.

Like I said before some schools do not teach sex ed well or at all because of protest from the religious right. Also in some cases it is self destructive behavior because they think so low of themselves because of the bad treatment they get.
