The voices are supposed to be ridiculously over the top exaggerations of the actual characters' voices. I think that if I had taken the story seriously, I would have put a bit more effort into making them sound presentable.
Also, considering I used the text verbatim from your story, yeah, it does have plenty to do with yours. What, it doesn't sound as good out loud as it did on paper?
