thanks so much for posting this. i remember watching this for the first time years ago on vhs, and being totally pissed off that they replaced brecker's solo footage stock footage of japan, trains and fucking fish markets!!!!!!!!!! beautiful playing nonetheless.

Felt exactly the same way! As a musician (and) a video editor, I was appalled they would cut out such important parts. Notice how they keep reusing the shot of Marc looking up all dreary-eyed... it's like he had a man-crush on Michael, even though he probably looked up once for a cue or something. Otherwise... good stuff. I ripped this off a DVD...gotta grab these things while they're still available.

As an aside... that temple in the video (Kyoto) has a couple hundred deer.... ripped a hole in my shirt trying to find food.
