Droid actually has a better GPU than the Nexus One, despite the N1 faster CPU.

Luckily, the game was developed by the NDK provided by Google and is VERY optimized so it runs on snapdragon phones as well.

The newer phones out after the Evo have better GPUs and can run new games. With Gingerbread, game developers will come to Android because of its lack of 3d games.

Unfortunately, I'm on the Evo. Hopefully Gingerbread can let these games work on my Evo as well.

Graphics looks great, Google Phone has 1Ghz speed cpu and 512 RAM, Iphone has 400 Mhz speed CPU. That's why Nexus One can handle games with better graphics.

I had htc desire well i dont know why i get safe mode all the time... and its hard to use it takes minutes to find app or game plus games lags and apps lags too... @klaca75 your all wrong.. android got 300-450% faster benchmark runs with froyo.. even the old nexus one beat iphone 4 at gaming and web browsing (with flash off like iphone).. iphone 4 got killed by htc desire hd in all the vs reviews I have seen.. use appbrain to get your apps not android marked alone... iphone is a paint to use.. can not set it up for fast use.. no live widgets, bad costume options.. almost pointless to call iphone a smart-phone.. it in more on level with non-phones..

@klaca75 I don't give a shit about camera on phones. but I still see that desire hd beat iphones 4 camera in vs reviews. iphone 4 screen i to small to put the extra resolution to good use. my 3,2 320*480 spica screen is still way better than what the 2.9 340*620 on my nokia 5530. extra resolution on a small screen don't do shit, only make it less reliable. iphone4 have the most unreliable screen right now. you can turn off flash in stock browser and use skyfire on flash. no lagging.

you are right but not at all...

first of all, maybe 1 ghz is good, but it isnt the single thing that gives you the graphic abilities. there is a CPU and a GPU. CPU gives for the operation system to work stable, and the GPU is what responsible for the graphic calculations. unfortunately, no any device from HTC doesnt have this one, but the iPhones have something called PowerVR SGX which gives them the best graphic despite the weak cpu.

There is a Qualcomm GPU (Adreno 200) in Nexus One. The GPU itself is significantly faster than iPhone...look at the pixels it has to render on N1(800x480) as compared to iphone(320x240)

@Deferreon no....this won't work on your spica....reason being that you don't run android 2.0 or higher.....it's a requirement for this game and some others on the market. also....I don't think your spica has as high a resolution as the nexus or droid so it may not even look right running on it. that's just a guess....but i know you need 2.0 or 2.1...
