Winning a championship is the most important thing anyone can do in their NBA career, and he would never have done it if he had stayed with such a poorly managed franchise. They only seriously made a run one time with him when they picked up Spreewell and Casell, but it still wasn't enough. I don't see how you can really blame him. Winning a championship is the most important thing anyone can do in their NBA career, and he would never have done it if he had stayed with such a poorly managed franchise. They only seriously made a run one time with him when they picked up Spreewell and Casell, but it still wasn't enough. Instead of picking up more pieces, they let those ones go eventually and now Garnett had no option but to leave if he ever wanted to win.

Duncan is better than Kobe as I stated earlier, KG, is better, T-Mac, Kidd, and Wade for that matter.
Wilt is the greatest ever, and you talk as if Kobe is 60, because his last ring was 5 years ago so don't make it look like the times are so much different!

You know B-Ball from obviously the Nike age to now, but check out greats like Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, Wilt, Lew Alcinder (Kareem Abdul-Jabaar).

I didn't read all of your staement on Kobe, I'm just tired of hearing young kids say Kobe or Lebron are the best. Comparing Wilt to MJ is like the Manning-Unitas argument. Stats weren't exactly kept like they are today. I'm 27, and from Chicago so I've seen some good b-ball. Wilt was getting these stats on 7 inch smaller, unathletic white centers. I'd say Bill Russell over Wilt personally

I used to agree with you on that, but with KG on a team that plays this way I think we will be saying something different at the end of the season. Spurs still haven't done back to back NBA title series, and the Mavs and the Rockets are both coming at them. Their all great teams though

Garnett Pierce and Allen is crazy, Lebron lead a team of nobodys to a championship, imagine these guys. My Bulls have alot of depth but no actual superstars (Gordon, Hinrich and Deng are starters, not SuperSTARS). The Celtics have 3 Superstars and James Posey.
