I was asked what the mission statement was, and though there was no exact thing counterpart, the 1972 LRH policy that says "Make money, make more money... make others produce so as to make more money" is close. I wanted to state what they actually do, rather than what their PR says they are about (world where honest people have rights etc.). I think everyone should be able to celebrate the religion of their choice. There are plenty of strange religions out there, but this is a free country. I would hate to see a time when anyone is persecuted because of their religion. It could be any of us next.

A lot of church's demand volunteer time, the reason the church thinks they can only help in an accident is because of unstanding the subconcious mind during an accident. An accident victim to the church will take in everything they hear and suppress it in the subcoouncious. I was asked what the mission statement was, and though there was no exact thing counterpart, the 1972 LRH policy that says "Make money, make more money... make others produce so as to make more money" is close. I wanted to state what they actually do, rather than what their PR says they are about (world where honest people have rights etc.). I agree that there could have been better answers, but it's difficult to do in a soundbite format with, yes, a confusing delay due to the satellite link.

it's nice that your life improved. but the thing is that when you were feeling weak scientology was the 1st thing that responded to your needs. there are more rational ways to encounter problems, i am not necessarily talking about going to a doctor. Scientology is just like any other religion: opium. the problem you encountered could have been solved without dogmatic knowledge offered by a church.

So, let me make sure I have this right... Scientology is the authority on everything, they can bring about peace, they can rehabilitate criminals, they are the end all be all answer to all that is bad in the world. As long as you agree with them, have NOTHING negative to say about them, ask no questions that shines a negative light on them, and they get to judge the rest of the world for things they don't understand or know nothing of.

Their is this thing in Scientology that I read. It's called A " service facsimile" The facismile part is actually a self-installed disability that "explains" how he is not responsible for not being able to cope. So he is not wrong for not coping. Part of the "package" is to be right by making wrong.

I think everyone should be able to celebrate the religion of their choice. There are plenty of strange religions out there, but this is a free country. I would hate to see a time when anyone is persecuted because of their religion. It could be any of us next.

This isn't a religious persecution issue. This is a totalitarian corporation that wants to take over the world and deny religious freedom to everybody else; a position that Tom Cruise is 100% endorsing. Read up on Operation Snow White and see what Scientology is capable of.

A lot of church's demand volunteer time, the reason the church thinks they can only help in an accident is because of unstanding the subconcious mind during an accident. An accident victim to the church will take in everything they hear and suppress it in the subcoouncious. The church has helped to rehabilatate people, speed read, narconon program helps people get off all drugs.

Wow. Lookout. Scientology is religion meets psychology on a corporate church level. Very versatile on the worst levels, but it's effective. Crappy background though. It's not science, it's sci-fi. It still has a backing though, from some of the most elite. Why, still escapes me. If any of y'all thought Christians were bad, wait till you see what rich religious elite sci-fi psychologists can do.
