  • Can we please just enjoy the music that does not use foul language, objectify women, glorify drugs, sex, pornography, crimes, and violence? Be grateful for something clean and lovely in a world where so much of music is not. What is the value of trying to devalue something beautiful in an often ugly world? By being negative you take away from that beauty & that is inherently wrong. "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance

  • FighterOfWhat'sRight: I apologize for getting into this discussion, as I'm a bit wore out from the many other letters to those who don't believe in God period. I've written so many that I don't even remember what our point is or was. But I will mention this, the Jehovah Witness and Mormons are both cults. I don't mean to sound rude, but hat is how it is. I do believe if one was truly interested in knowing the truth, one would looking to it. Consider an Assemblies of God Church.

    Best regards.

  • @1LonePuma No offense, Puma, and as believers of Christ, let me respectfully say that I disagree. One needs to engage in much more than just a superficial examination of the Bible, its history, and the beliefs and practices of first century Christians to find "truth." I respect you as a fellow Christian and as a Child of God, but you know very little about Mormon Christianity or the Restored Church of Christ. Rather than focusing on our differences, however, shall we not both preach of Christ?

  • @Steedlaw: Don't misunderstand me, but true Christians don't follow anything but the written word of God...the Bible. But I can say this, the Mormons do work within some of principles of God's word, but the Jews how about the blessings and the principles. But true Christians seem to have a greater personal experience with the Lord personally. You can't have prophets of any consequence when they don't hold true to the word of God...the Bible; it will never happen. I'd say, stay in the Bible only.

  • FighterOfWhatsRight: Yes, that is true, no trinity, but we all assume you know that already. It's easier to explain it that way: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Ghost. If I can be of any further help, please let me know.

  • Deuteronomy 4 not 3.

  • When It says you can't add on to the words in Revelation, it literally means you can't add onto revelation; It makes absolutely no sense why it'd mean the Bible. "Christian" leaders put Revelation last in the Council of Nicaea specifically so they can call anyone who finds more scripture false, so they can be the only ones with followers and so they can have their own church grow, because they'd get more money if they have more followers. Catholicism is only man's religion, not God's.

  • This is for anyone who claims that God said that you can't add onto his words and therefor the Book of Mormon must be false:

First, Deuteronomy chapter 3 also says this, which means every book after Deuteronomy is false if you literally mean nothing else can be added. Second, the bible didn't exist yet when the prophets ever wrote those, and Revelation wasn't the last book chronologically. 1 John came after Reveltaion, which means John himself broke his own rule(since he wrote revelation)

  • @1LonePuma a closed mine will not allow itself to be saved. only an open mind can truly receive the benefits of divinity. there is nothing anywhere that says that there can't be more religious documents than just the bible. and it's not a 'christ' we can become, but reach our full potential as eternal beings of energy, which has a religious basis of being labeled as a god. we are not mortal beings living a spiritual experience, but spiritual beings living a mortal experience. open up you mind.

  • Kolob is a Mormon word, a star, which I don't subscribe to. The only book of Truth is the KJV Bible, which is the actual inspired word of God, period. However, there are those religions who profess to have additional books on God, the Jehovah Witness is another. Often times these books tell you that you can become a Christ yourself, but even common sense tells you that's more cap of Satan. God will share his glory with no man, but people seem to believe other wise...go figure.

  • @1LonePuma Might I suggest looking up these KJV bible verses/chapters?

    Psalm 82

Acts 17:29(this one also has the word Godhead in it, which is a concept only Mormons believe, most believe in the trinity, so not only does it point out we're the offspring of God but also that there's a Godhead, not a trinity, which "trinity" isn't even found in the Bible)

    romans 8:17

    Galatians 4

    Ephesians 4:13-15

    Revelation 3

When you finish reading, I hope you will see the truth in the Bible. Take care

  • que buen video

  • So did Joseph Smith say god lives on a planet called Kolob??? I was raised mormon but confussed about alot of the church history lately. Joseph Smith also said people live on the moon and that didnt turn out.

  • @ToyaRoa there's things and living people your natural eyes cannot see.. and yes Kolob is where God lives

  • @nickgoering ummmm.... so are you saying there are invisible people who live on the moon???

  • @ToyaRoa no i just said there are things you can't see all around you... :)

  • @ToyaRoa Just listen to the words of the song. The song is about how there is no beginning or end to God or to his creations. Being raised Mormon, you know that that we do not worship crosses. We worship God the father and His son, Jesus Christ, through the joy in our souls. There is no beginning nor end to God, love, wisdom, progression, families, truth, being, and glory.

  • @ToyaRoa The planet Kolob is the Planet Saturn. Does the Creator live on it? I don't know for sure. But I know without a doubt that Kolob is Saturn, and the Kokaubeam are both Venus and Mars. Look up Symbols of an Alien Sky -- it should help with some of your questions and engender some more.

  • @ToyaRoa Did Joseph specify what kind of people? Did he mean people who were given bodies already? Or did he mean people who have not yet been given bodies? Joseph did not say that God lives on Kolob, in fact It's in the book of Abraham, which was a scroll founded in catacombs of Egypt I do believe. As you know, Abraham was a prophet in the old testament, but he does not have writing in the Bible because they did not have them at the council of nicaea, but because the church was given...

  • @ToyaRoa ...the scrolls most people refuse the book of Abraham as scripture, mostly because the other Christians hated the LDS church at that time. I'm sure if some other church had discovered the scrolls of Abraham, they'd have had put it in their version of the Bible. Many scrolls of old testament prophets were lost by the way,and we still don't have all the writings of all the prophets today. Also, the idea that men can become like God, is in the Bible itself, it's not a "Mormon thing"...

  • @ToyaRoa ..but it kind of is because the LDS church is the only church which teaches it, even though it's obviously in the Bible. Might I suggest looking up the verses I suggested to 1lonepuma on the first page of the comments. Also, there are many teachings in thee Bible many Christians don't accept, such as baptism for the dead and their being three levels of heaven. This was not made up by Joseph Smith, read 1 Corinthians chapter 15, both these things are in there.

  • @ToyaRoa So as you can see, not only does the LDS church have more of God's truth in regards of having more of the words of prophets(such as having the BoM, D&C, and the PofGP) but we also teach more teachings that are in the Bible, which no other Christian religion teaches, because the other ones were founded by the desires and wants of men, not God. Also not to mention that "thou shalt have no graven images" which you worship, which nearly every christian does with worshiping the Cross.

  • @ToyaRoa I did a little more research on the moon people thing. I suggest going to wwwlightplanetcom and search "did joseph Smith teach that the moon was inhabited?. Turns out that a man named Oliver B Huntington claimed that this was in a Patriarchal Blessing Joseph recieved in 1837 by his father. However, if you look at Joseph's writings, it was never recorded, and the only instance of this idea that Joseph believed in men on the moon, comes from Huntington and not Joseph himself.

  • Man, you tone deaf mormons make awful music....

  • Kolob? Sorry, I'm confused. Is this a song from Star Trek?

  • Very nice! I like this version too!

  • awesome! my favorite song....>'.'<

  • And a stolen tune from Ralph Vaughn Williams. Hmm, he wasn't LDS and probably wouldn't appreciate it.
