actually, they started coming out with downloaded content disks for ps2. You can but them at like walmart and stuff. Im not positive on how they work but I know they sell them.

Harmonix came out with 2 "Rock Band Track Packs". Its more like an expansion disk, although you don't need the original Rock Band. It's got like 30 tracks that are offered as downloadable content for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and it's about $30.
