these old Wizard of Oz toons are amongst my first cartoon memories from the early 60s...what's interesting about them now is the fact that this is how the rankin/bass folks cut their teeth in the TV biz!!
Oh my god!I don't even watch Futurama and u told me this!This makes an almost 15-year-old like me to love someone who's been around in the 60's.Rusty/Mantha forever!
This is one of my favourite episodes of the series.
I don't know which part is best; the wicked witch smacking the rat, starry-eyed Socrates, the transformed witch rejecting Socrates' admiration, or tempermental Rusty getting frustrated with that dunce of a strawman.
This was the first Wizard of Oz cartoon I ever saw.
